What Do You Say?

Some people still don't get Stuff Black People Don't Like. Why have a website like SBPDL? Is it run by Black people? Is it run by white people who dislike Black people?

We get a lot of email from curious readers asking similar questions (e-mail us at stuffblackpeople@gmail.com) and thought it might be time to throw the cards on the table.

The United States is a failed nation, for we exist as a nation of cowards when it comes discussing race - Eric Holder was right - and yet, the reality of race is right before our lying eyes.

Watch the nightly news cast to see two things: Black people excelling at sports and at crime.

If that last statement upsets you, well, you have no business operating in the real world. Taxes could rise or fall; healthcare reform could pass or fail; immigration could be stopped tomorrow; yet, these facts don't undercut the reality that America is a failed - and cowardly - state.

Institutionalized racism against white people in every sector of society (law, business, academy, sports, Hollywood) is now the norm, and yet, white people still bend over backwards to help out non-white people, like Michael Oher and other non-whites through adoption.

Even in the face of the United States dissolving and breaking apart, white people go out of their way to help out non-white people - especially Black people - and then go and see a movie (The Blind Side) about it, just to feel better about themselves.

SBPDL is a website dedicated to educating the world about Stuff Black People Don't Like. Does that mean we are Black or white? Michael Jackson famously said it don't matter if you are Black or white... so we won't answer that question.

What we will answer is this: SBPDL will be back soon with new entries. We don't believe in racism at SBPDL either, nor will we tolerate it. What we will tolerate and promulgate is facts, backed by links and honest discussion of race.

So what do you say at a moment like this? SBPDL will be back tomorrow with a discussion of doctors and another on tutoring of college athletes (yes, another college football entry), so we hope you'll have a lot to say.

In the meantime, SBPDL would like to pay homage to an individual they cared about greatly who passed away four years ago in early December 2005. That person lost a battle with cancer and yet, at the end of their life they were more apologetic for leaving a world for our generation to inherit that stood on the cusp of disaster then with their untimely passing.

You have not been forgotten JRH.

The time to be honest about the nations decline is upon us, more than ever. Someone dear to SBPDL taught them the lesson that honesty is the most important virtue, and it's time to uphold that trait: What do you say?

#1000. "F*** Tha Police" as just a Song

gThis will be expanded upon, but Stuff Black People Don't Like includes "F*** Tha Police" as just a song.

Very disturbing stuff (buried at the bottom of the story is the race of the killer):

The man who killed four Lakewood police officers at a Parkland coffee shop may have been wounded by one of the officers.

Pierce County sheriff's spokesman Ed Troyer told reporters at the scene that one of the officers struggled out the door and fired his gun at the attacker.

"There is evidence that a Lakewood Police officer fired off some shots, and we hope that he hit him," said Troyer. "If he's hit, that means that he's injured somewhere with a gunshot wound."

Troyer said the suspect is a black male, 5-foot-7 to 6 feet tall, 20s to 30s, scruffy appearance, wearing a black coat with a gray sweatshirt underneath, and blue jeans.

A $10,000 reward is being offered for information. Tiplines - for tips only - are (253) 591-5959 or 866-977-2362.

Washington Gov. Chris Gregoire said she was "shocked and horrified" by the killings.

"Our police put their lives on the line every day, and tragedies like this remind us of the risks they continually take to keep our communities safe," she said in a written statement. "My heart goes out to the family, friends and co-workers of these officers, as well as the entire law enforcement community."

Four cops dead - at the hand of a Black person - just like in Oakland earlier this year:

Police say the fourth Oakland police officer shot on Saturday has died at a city hospital.

Oakland police spokesman Jeff Thomason said Sunday that 41-year-old Officer John Hege died at Highland Hospital after being gravely wounded during a traffic stop.

Authorities say a 26-year-old parolee opened fire on Hege and 40-year-old Sgt. Mark Dunakin after they pulled him over around 1 p.m. on Saturday, killing Dunakin.

Suspect Lovelle Mixon was slain later that afternoon in a gunfight with police that left two more officers dead. Thomason identified those officers as 43-year-old Sgt. Ervin Romans and 35-year-old Sgt. Daniel Sakai.

Police said the officers' deaths were the most ever in a single day in the department's history.

SBPDL is too disturbed by this story to post more tonight. We'll close it with lyrics from "F*** Tha Police":

Ice Cube:
"Fuck tha police comin straight from the underground
A young nigga got it bad 'cause I'm brown
I'm not the other color so police think
They have the authority to kill a minority"

MC Ren:

"To the police I'm sayin fuck you punk
Readin my rights and shit, it's all junk
Pullin out a silly club, so you stand
With a fake assed badge and a gun in your hand
But take off the gun so you can see what's up
And we'll go at it punk, and I'ma fuck you up"

Eazy-E:

"Without a gun and a badge, what do you got
A sucker in a uniform waiting to get shot
By me, or another nigga
And with a gat it don't matter if he's smaller or bigger."

#235. Tiger Woods Fall From Grace

Stuff Black Like People Don't Like has said it before and we will say it again: without sports - and ESPN - Black people would have few, if any positive images to display to the world.

Sports allowed integration - especially in the south - to happen and sports have the ability to "mainstream" positive images of Black people to Americans who spend countless hours in front of the television watching college football, professional football and basketball.

Movies depict sports as the great racial equalizer and the only way to bring about harmony between the races is to have Black and white people compete on the same athletic field, wearing the same team jersey. Take for instance Remember the Titans:
"Remember the Titans centers on the American football team of the newly integrated T. C. Williams High School in Alexandria, Virginia. Although based on a true story, events in the film are largely exaggerated, especially those pertaining to initial racial tensions within the team, as well as the level of opposition the Titans faced."

In 1971, at the old desegregated T. C. Williams High School, Herman Boone (Denzel Washington), also derogatorily known as Coach "Coon," is hired as head coach for the school's football team. He takes the place promised to former head coach Bill Yoast (Will Patton). Yoast at first refuses Boone's offer as the assistant head coach, but then changes his mind after his white players pledge to boycott if he doesn't coach.

The black and white members of the football team clash in racially-motivated conflicts on a few occasions while at football camp but, after forceful coaxing and team building efforts by Coach Boone, the team achieves as well as success. Boone makes the camp quite rigorous; when the bus is leaving for the camp all members are instructed to wear a shirt and tie; anyone not doing so will watch the season and not compete. At the camp, anybody who displays any misconduct at practice is instructed to run a mile. One time during camp, Coach Boone wakes up the players at 3:00 am to run through the woods to end up at a Civil War battleground where he delivers a stirring speech on why that war was fought ("the same fight we are still having today")."

That film grossed more than $115 million at the United States and leaves the viewer with the impression that without sports, Black people wouldn't have much else to do for they would never have been included in mainstream American life. Thankfully, sports do exist and Black people can rest easy at night.

However, resting easy at night isn't going to be a feat accomplished anymore at Tiger Woods abode, for the most popular athlete in the world has finally hit into a rough he might be incapable of hitting out of:
Tiger Woods did not suffer facial lacerations from a car accident.
They were inflicted by his wife, Elin Nordegren -- according to a conversation Woods had Friday after the accident.

Tiger has yet to be formally interviewed by the Florida Highway Patrol -- that should happen this afternoon. But we're told Tiger had a conversation Friday -- with a non-law enforcement type -- detailing what went down before his Escalade hit a fire hydrant.

We're told he said his wife had confronted him about reports that he was seeing another woman. The argument got heated and, according to our source, she scratched his face up. We're told it was then Woods beat a hasty retreat for his SUV -- but according to our source, Woods says his wife followed behind with a golf club. As Tiger drove away, she struck the vehicle several times with the club."
Obviously, the tragedy of Tiger Woods getting in a horrible car accident is a news story on par with OJ Simpson racing through Los Angeles in a White Bronco, which is every news channel covered it with morbid fascination:

"Florida Highway Patrol spokeswoman Sgt. Kim Montes said Saturday that investigators are "trying not to get on the rumor mill."

The world's No. 1 golfer smashed his Cadillac near his $2.4 million mansion at 2:25 a.m. Friday and was briefly hospitalized, police said. Though there still has been no information on where he was heading at that hour, plenty of details from the crash have emerged: His lips were cut, and Windermere police chief Daniel Saylor said Woods' wife, Elin Nordegren, used a golf club to smash out a back window and help Woods from the car."

Tiger Woods is of course one of the great examples of sportsmanship for young people to emulate and now, we are treated to watching Woods engage in alleged extra-marital affairs and for an episode worthy of Jerry Springer breaking out at his home.

Tiger Woods plays golf, one of the last sporting activities that demands the participants to play by the rules and be gentlemen always:

"J.P. Hayes can sleep at night, knowing he did the right thing.

That doesn't mean the last few days haven't been difficult and it doesn't mean the coming months won't be a challenge.

They have been, and they will be.

But as a professional golfer, playing a sport that is self-policed - a sport in which integrity is as important as winning titles and cheating is practically non-existent - Hayes knows he did the right thing.

His sin?

Hayes inadvertently played a non-conforming golf ball - one not on the list approved for competition by the United States Golf Association - for one hole of a second-stage qualifier in McKinney, Texas."

Worse, Mr. Woods happens to represent something more important to the athletic world as he is the only Black person in the PGA:

"Ten years after he joined the PGA Tour, Tiger Woods still stands alone. And not just because he's so good.

Woods was supposed to open the sport up to black kids in America and around the world. Yet a decade later, he remains the only black golfer on the tour. This week, he plays at the U.S. Open, being run by the USGA, which talks about bringing minorities into the sport but doesn't have a single one on its executive committee.

``Am I disappointed? Yeah,'' Woods said when asked about the dearth of blacks at the highest levels of golf. ``I thought there would be more of us out here.''

Golf is the ultimate individual sport, where every action is dictated primarily by what you do (weather can be a factor), as opposed to football, basketball or baseball. Thus, if few Black people play golf and make it to the PGA then the fault must lay squarely on the feet of Black people, not the reason this writer claims:
"While white resistance to the integration of blacks into all the major sports continued after initial desegregation efforts, nowhere was this resistance more complete than in golf, where the maintenance of a system of overt and institutional racism prevailed for many decades after initial racial barriers were removed."
Thankfully, the PGA is trying to remedy this situation to bring greater racial balance to a sport played overwhelming by white and Asian people:
"With much fanfare, the PGA Tour established the First Tee program eight years ago, an attempt to bring the game to the inner city and get more minorities involved. In many ways, the program has been a success. Of its 450,000 participants, 44 percent are white, 27 percent are black and 10 percent are Hispanic. In all of golf, 84 percent of the players are white."
Of course, with America becoming increasingly non-white, golf is in dire of need of broadening its appeal to people of color or else it might find the fairways of the hundreds of golf courses across the country empty:

Out on the fairways, course operators work to stay green. On the tee sheet, they should be looking to get less white. At least that’s what demographic studies indicate. According to a Brookings Institution report, Caucasian populations have declined in more than half of the counties in the United States since 2000. Meanwhile, Latino and African-American populations are on the rise.

Quite simply, the white male—golf’s go-to customer for more than 100 years—is fading on the census tables. USA Today, crunching data from 2007, cited “the slowing growth of an aging population of whites” as a force that is “reshaping the nation’s demographic landscape.” What’s more, the article cited a parallel trend: “Immigration [and] a population boom among Hispanics.” As for America’s black population, when it was tallied in 2007, the numbers showed a one-year increase of approximately 500,000 residents—up to 40.7 million total. By 2050 or sooner, African-Americans will account for 15 percent of the population (versus 13.5 percent now).

Despite the growing number of black and Hispanic-Americans, these groups are under-represented as golfers. Even if these minority groups weren’t expanding their populations, they could gain importance to course owners just by increasing their golf-participation rates toward the national average for Caucasians of 14.5 percent. Currently, the participation rate among Hispanics is 5.4 percent, while for African-Americans, it’s at 7 percent. Asian-American golfers don’t have as much upside in this regard, with adults in this group registering a 13.7 golf participation rate."

Thus, the reason Tiger Woods is so important to golf and to attracting Black people to the fairways. 500,000 people are directly employed at golf courses throughout the country and the future for those who want a part in this industry is looking ever more dark, unless Black people start playing and paying to play:

"According to the National Golf Foundation, the number of new courses expected to open in the United States in 2008 is the smallest in 20 years. More courses are scheduled to close this year (nearly 100) than the 80 expected to open, though the closures have fallen since almost 150 were shut down two years ago. The golf construction boom of the 1990s – when about 2,500 new courses (mostly daily fee ones) were added to the 13,000 or so already extant in the U.S. – is not only over; it’s stuck in reverse.

The problems of the broad economy are bedeviling golf course construction. The housing market’s collapse has hampered development, since a number of golf projects these days are tied into on-site housing. Getting financing to build a new course is tougher than it has been in decades. Projects that were started this year have seen the bulldozers turned off until better times appear."

Worse, the housing market collapse and the depression we are enduring is having horrid effects on the golfing world:

"In Scotland and Ireland, where there are more golf courses per person than anywhere else in Europe, the pain is being felt most keenly in the loss of tourist traffic - especially traffic that once originated in the United States.

Golf tourists spend an average of $315 (250 euros) a day on a weeklong holiday, with a quarter of that spent on teeing off, and the rest going to travel, hotels and food, a report by KPMG’s Golf Benchmark shows. That means golf across Europe, the Middle East and Africa is a $67 billion (53 billion euro) industry."

Tiger Woods can't become fodder for late-night comedians. He is to important to the golfing world and Black people, for he is one of the few Black people in the country club at any given time who isn't cooking, cleaning or serving.

He is vital to the PGA and the golfing world and to have his name sunk in the depths of a horrible sand trap isn't a salvageable situation. Worse, he is needed for PGA events as his mere presence is vital for television ratings.

Also, Woods is a brand unto himself, as helps sell many goods and services, which helped him becoming the first Billionaire athlete:

"Now Woods can add one more accolade to his trophy case: the first athlete to earn $1 billion. Our calculations show that the $10 million bonus Woods earned winning this year's FedEx Cup title nudged him over the $1 billion mark in career earnings.

Forbes has been tracking athlete earnings since before Tiger turned pro. Woods had earned a cumulative $895 million going into 2009, by our estimates, from prize money, appearance fees, endorsements, bonuses and his golf course design business. If you add his $10.5 million in 2009 prize money, the FedEx bonus and his take so far this year from his more than $100 million in annual off-the-course earnings, Woods' career earnings are now 10 figures."

So, Tiger Woods alleged sleeping around on his wife doesn't bode well for golf, nor for the pristine image that has been concocted of Tiger Woods. This is a huge blow to one of the worlds top athletes and to the cause of Black people playing golf, which - as we have shown - could have massive ramifications on the future of golf itself!

Stuff Black People Don't Like has to include Tiger Woods fall from grace; for he is the only Black person on the PGA Tour; an iconic business image and spokesman for numerous companies; and one of the important Black people on the planet. He married a beautiful woman and yet finds himself engaged in behavior that is more in line with John Daly than with Greg Norman.

Perhaps Daley and Woods can discuss their negative press over wings and beer at Hooters.

#123. Those Who Can See

We at SBPDL talk about college football and sports all the time for one simple reason: without sports, Black people would have absolutely no positive images to project to the American people.

Integration and the breakdown of entrenched dogmatic white supremacy in every institution in America only occurred when white people realized they could derive enjoyment out of watching Black people compete in sports.

We still live in a world where Black people commit crimes at an unprecedented level against white people, yet we live in a world where they make up 68 percent of the NFL on-field employees and 80 percent of the NBA competitors (these numbers don't eradicate the reality of crime in the USA):
  • Of the nearly 770,000 violent interracial crimes committed every year involving blacks and whites, blacks commit 85 percent and whites commit 15 percent.
  • Blacks commit more violent crime against whites than against blacks. Forty-five percent of their victims are white, 43 percent are black, and 10 percent are Hispanic. When whites commit violent crime, only three percent of their victims are black.
Hate Facts, you might protest, are being utilized again to denigrate Black people. This entire website is comprised of Hate Facts, even including the Michael Oher entry (do you realize that without white people, The Blind Side could never have been filmed?), for any person pointing out faults within the Black community obviously has racist intentions.

Wrong. Black people understand this world perfectly. They look to Africa as a continent devoid of hope, reason and a future (save for the Chinese exploitation of it and the impending Human Rights nightmare), and wonder why white people even bother.

Black people live an incredible life in America, where billions of dollars are thrown their way to educate them, promote them ahead of every other race and ensure their domestic tranquility.

Disingenuous white liberals
work extra hard to provide a luxurious lifestyle for Black people and the tools necessary to educate them to the highest degree possible.

Crusading white pedagogues strive to close the racial gap in learning - which even the election of Barack Obama failed to close - but only endanger themselves in the process.

Sports, you see, is the only reason Black people haven't all been sent to Monrovia, Liberia by now, and any honest Black person will nod their head in unison at this remark.

Every opportunity to assimilate into mainstream American life has been offered to Black people, yet they have steadfastly refused to for decades, instead finding solace in the "perpetually victimized-class" status and continuing to hold this nation hostage in a vice of racial guilt.

Sadly, this age will pass and the glory of Black sports achievements will be forgotten as the reality of crime, substandard test scores that trillions of dollars can't remedy and rotting unlivable cities will provide the necessary sunglasses for people to see clearly.

Don't understand the sunglasses reference? Allow a quick They Live explanation to fill you in:
"Part science fiction thriller and part dark comedy, the film echoed contemporary fears of a declining economy, within a culture of greed and conspicuous consumption common among Americans in the 1980s. In They Live, the ruling class within the monied elite are in fact aliens managing human social affairs through the use of a signal on top of the tv broadcast that is concealing their appearance and subliminal messages in Mass media....

When Nada later dons the glasses for the first time, the world appears in shades of grey, with significant differences. He notices that a billboard now simply displays the word "Obey"; without them it advertises that Control Data Corporation is "creating a transparent computing environment." Another billboard (normally displaying "Come to the Caribbean" written above a lovely woman lying on a beach) now displays the text "Marry and Reproduce." He also sees that paper money bears the words "This is your God." All printed matter around him contains subliminal advertising.

Additionally, he soon discovers that many people are actually aliens, who are human-looking except for skull-like faces. When the aliens realize he can see them for what they truly are, the police suddenly arrive. Nada escapes and steals a police shotgun; while evading the police, he accidentally stumbles into a local bank filled with aliens. Realizing that the jig is up, he proclaims, "I have come here to chew bubblegum and kick ass...and I'm all out of bubblegum."
Right now, those who can see the truth of 21st century are demonized and called racists, bigots even. They are lepers and must be driven from polite society for they infect everyone with the impetuous notion of prejudicial thinking.

Yet those who can see the truth of 21st century America are precisely Stuff Black People Don't Like, for they operate on a playing field that most Black people do.

Those who can see exist diametrically opposed to those who currently run the nation, yet stand as a reminder that like Yeats, this era of Black dominance can change at any moment:
"All changed, changed utterly:
A terrible beauty is born."
A terrible beauty will be born when those who can see grows in number. For on that day, Black people will realize bubble gum will be hard to come by, and sports achievements will account for the worth of a handful of sand at the beach.

And a lot of Black people will ask: what took you so long?

Happy Thanksgiving... Ready for Black Friday?

Happy Thanksgiving from SBPDL. New post(s) coming later tonight, after a heavy consumption of food with the family.

The question though, is are you ready for Black Friday Lines? Last year, Black people trampled a Black person to death as they battled it out for marked-off goods at Wal-Mart.

What will this years Black Friday provide?

We'll wager a decrease in consumer spending, but a few more injuries than were suffered last year by overeager anxious to get discounted goods.

In the end, SBPDL is thankful for our readers. This site is averaging more than 2,000 unique visitors a day and continues to see positive growth from month-to-month.

Black people - at 13 percent of the United States population - have closed ranks completely around their president, Mein Obama, who last year entered with the White House with an unprecedented amount of popularity:
"In his first full week in office (Jan. 26-Feb. 1), an average of 66% of Americans approved of the job Obama was doing, including 61% of non-Hispanic whites and 80% of nonwhites. In the most recent week, spanning Nov. 16-22 interviewing, his approval rating averaged 49% overall, 39% among whites, and 73% among nonwhites. Thus, since the beginning of his presidency, his support has dropped 22 points among whites, compared with a 7-point loss among nonwhites.

Given the 17-point drop in his approval rating among all U.S. adults, it follows that Obama's support has declined among all major demographic and attitudinal subgroups, with one notable exception -- blacks.

Blacks' support for Obama has averaged 93% during his time in office, and has been at or above 90% nearly every week during his presidency. Thus, part of the reason Obama's support among nonwhites has not dropped as much as his support among other groups is because of his consistent support from blacks. (With Hispanics' approval rating down five points, greater declines among Asians, Native Americans, and those of mixed races account for his total seven-point drop among nonwhites.)"

Still, it is strange to see near monolithic support for Mein Obama from Black people when they have an unprecedented level of unemployment that is augmenting under his watchful eye:
"The latest employment figures sadly unsurprising: with about 35 percent of black men aged 16 to 24 unemployed, the epidemic of joblessness in Black America encapsulates a nationwide crisis. Although high unemployment and deep racial disparities are nothing new, the depth and length of the recession has prompted progressive economists and community groups to warnof an impending “social catastrophe.”
Black people don't want to admit it, but they are engaging in an unprecedented "social catastrophe" that few wish to discuss, as a massive crime wave - fueled by Black people - is overwhelming the nation.

Interesting, Black people had trouble finding work - well, position that didn't have diversity officer before their name - even in the most recent economic high tide:
"At a time when the U.S. economy is on the upswing and more people are finding work, young African American men are falling further behind.
  • Rates of imprisonment for young black men escalated throughout the 1990s and continued climbing well into the current decade. About 16 percent of black men in their twenties who were not college students were either in jail or in prison.
  • African Americans are seven times more likely to go to prison or jail than whites.
  • Almost 60 percent of black male high school dropouts in their early thirties have spent time in prison.
  • The percentage of young jobless black men continues to increase, part of a trend that generally hasn't abated in decades. In 2000, about 65 percent of black male high-school dropouts had no jobs, either because they couldn't find work or because they were in jail. By 2004, the studies found that number had grown to 72 percent. The numbers for young black men were higher than for whites and Hispanics similarly affected
Sadly, all of these Black people who can't find jobs and ended up in jail were incapable of finding a family such as the one Michael Oher found, or other white families that Black NFL players found:
"The film touches on his rise from poverty-stricken beginnings in Memphis—his father was murdered, his mother was a drug addict, and he was virtually homelessness by age 16—but its most prominent story line belongs to Leigh Anne Tuohy, the sympathetic white Ole Miss booster who saved Oher from the streets and helped tap his enormous potential.

The film makes Oher out to be an improbable success story—the 23rd pick in the 2009 draft, he was a Day One starter for the Ravens—but the NFL is loaded with similar Hollywood tales. Titans Pro Bowl linebacker Keith Bulluck, Cowboys defensive end Marcus Dixon and Eagles rookie wideout Jeremy Maclin are three other players who owe their pro careers in part to white families who provided them havens from adverse circumstances, and Oher wishes his story were just as underreported as theirs. He's generally loath to discuss that difficult period in his life, and says he only flipped through the book and has no plans to see the movie."

What does all this point too, you might ask? Stuff Black People Don't Like is thankful for altruistic white families that adopt Black children, for Black people are incapable of raising their children... just ask Barack Obama's papa (the job of raising him went to his white grandparents).

That is the entire point of the movie The Blind Side, and that will soon permeate into every sector of American life. Remember, 70 percent of Black people are born out of wedlock and into broken homes, thus the need for the Michael Oher Act: Remove Black kids from their biological parents and into the loving arms of white families.

So, SBPDL recommends you stay away from any and all department store this Black Friday. Spend time with your families and loved ones instead.

And most importantly, realize that Mein Obama's poll numbers will continue to fall and the day will come when he sees the wrath of Black people come down upon him, as Black support will erode over time. After all, he is half-white.

When that happens, recall what we have discussed before: Black people don't like to be out rioted.

This Thanksgiving, we are thankfully those haven't started yet. They came close in Detroit a few months back.

#83. Magnificent Train Stations

Integration. Could this four syllable word be the driving force behind the ruination of the U.S. major city and worse, the degradation of the environment and the harbinger of man-made global warming?

Pre-Obama America was a veritable Whitopia, with more than 90 percent of the population white people (Black and white people might find it hard to believe now-a-days, but those who are deemed Hispanic in today's racial spoils system were less than one percent of the population of the entire county in 1964. Now, they represent a superior numerical number than Black people).

However, major cities that once were humming with innovation and commerce, soon found a growing problem within their city limits after full equality was bestowed upon Black people by the SCOTUS; massive white flight:

It was one of the most significant demographic trends of the latter half of the 20th century. It has also been one of the more controversial issues demographers and sociologists have struggled to interpret. The subject of white residents fleeing to the suburbs from cities, so-called "white flight," is not, however, past history.

Census 2000 reveals that a second wave of white migration is occurring today, the causes of which are both complex and disputable. American Demographics asked two leading demographers to offer their interpretations of this recent population shift.

De Jure and De Facto segregation represent modern Scylla and Charybdis to Black peoples full entry into the daily life of American society:
"de jure segregation is segregation imposed by law (de jure is latin for lawful)

de facto segregation is segregation by fact or circumstance. Very often this is not a conscious choice. A good example is found in neighborhoods, frequently there is a white neighborhood or a black neighborhood, this concentration can lead to schools that are predominately one race. (de facto is latin for by fact)"

With full on equality kicking in the 1960s and white people fleeing integration with the speed of endangered citizens fleeing the alien invasion in War of the Worlds, major cities were left to be run in the capable of Black people.

These fine Black people found the Halls of Power that were once denied to them, completely and unequivocally open, without an inhibitors (such as white voting solidarity keeping Black people out of the City Hall).

Thus, white people fled to formerly pristine land outside major cities, that was untouched by developers, but would soon be developed into vibrant cities where upper and middle-class white people sought refuge from the growing radicalization of Black people in the 1960s.

Beautiful land was turned into a haven for people to economically escape (for a little while, see the Reality of Clayton County) the truculent nature of major cities and create suburban paradise out of the vast wilderness.

These beautiful ecosystems were turned into vast graveyards where white people busied themselves with life away from abandoned major cities that were now firmly in the control of Black power spewing politicians.

Graveyards, you might ask? Yes. White people found life idyllic in suburbia, but this short-lived fantasy of escaping the darkening reality of America would ensnare people in a continuous cycle of abandoning one suburb for the next whitopia. You see, when one suburb had an economic boom, Black people would follow and find haven there in the form of Section 8 housing.

Sadly, the developers found building these refugee camps for white people off of the Eisenhower Highway System, an easy quick money scheme. Short term profits were viewed with the long term problems of congestion, urban sprawl and infrastructure considerations but a problem for future generations to deal with in the end.

These new suburban abodes were virtually inaccessible by any form of transportation - save for a car - and this meant that the exodus of white people from major cities crippled one of the ultimate forms of Manifest Destiny: the railroad system:
"Despite the difficulties, U.S. railroads carried 427 billion ton-miles of cargo annually in 1930. This increased to 750 billion ton-miles by 1975 and doubled to 1.5 trillion ton-miles in 2005.In the 1950s, the U.S. and Europe moved roughly the same percentage of freight by rail; but, by 2000, the share of U.S. rail freight was 38% while in Europe only 8% of freight traveled by rail. In 1997, while U.S. trains moved 2,165 billion ton-kilometers of freight, the 15-nation European Union moved only 238 billion ton-kilometers of freight.

Railroad companies in the United States are generally separated into three categories based on their annual revenues: Class I for freight railroads with annual operating revenues above $346.8 million (2006 dollars), Class II for freight railroads with revenues between $27.8 million and $346.7 million in 2006 dollars, and Class III for all other freight railroads. These classifications are set by the Surface Transportation Board.

In 1939 there were 132 Class I railroads. Today, as the result of mergers, bankruptcies, and major changes in the regulatory definition of "Class I," there are only seven railroads operating in the United States that meet the criteria for Class I. As of 2006, U.S. freight railroads operated 140,490 route-miles (226,097 km) of standard gauge in the United States."

The importance of railroads in transporting tangible goods, freight, animals and people over long distances in shortened amounts of time lead to a vast opening of the United States and enabled people to conduct business in new ways that revolutionized commerce and trade.

Now, some people believe in conspiracy theories and many attribute the decline of the rail system to General Motors putting out rumors about how unsafe trolleys and the rail system would be, as opposed to cars.

This is wrong. Passenger railroad decline is directly correlated with white flight and integration, for white people abandoning major cities to control of Black people meant a complete repudiation of everything that they had built, including grand rail stations, which Black people correctly saw as a symbol of white oppression, since many Blacks were denied entry into this grand of white transportation by Jim Crow laws or other forms of segregation.

Now, many would consider the only contribution Black people have ever given to the idea of the railroad system to be firmly in the Underground variety, but Black people were instrumental in dissembling glorious train stations that once stood at the center of nearly every major American city:
"In 1963, America learned a painful lesson when Pennsylvania Station, an architectural treasure that Senator Daniel Moynihan described as “the best thing in our city,” was torn down and replaced with a dreary complex that includes an office building and Madison Square Garden. The rail station, to this day the nation’s busiest, was moved underground into a claustrophobic warren of artificially lit passageways and bleak waiting rooms.

While there has been an active campaign since the 1990’s to rectify the mistake by creating a new and worthy station a block away, the $1 billion-plus project remains stuck in political gridlock."
Remember, Plessy v. Ferguson was a huge SCOTUS decision that revolved around Black people and the denial of access to trains:
"On June 7, 1892, Homer Plessy boarded a car of the East Louisiana Railroad that was designated for use by white patrons only. Although Plessy was born a free person and was one-eighth black and seven-eighths white, under a Louisiana law enacted in 1890, he was classified as Black, and thus required to sit in the "colored" car. When, in an act of planned disobedience, Plessy refused to leave the white car and move to the colored car, he was arrested and jailed."
Thus, in every major American city once Black people took power, these train stations were seen as beacons of white supremacy and would have to be torn down brick by brick:

" MEMPHIS - Union Station

When this city’s Union Station opened in 1912, it was the largest stone structure in town. But when the U.S. Postal Service announced that it needed new land in the city in the late 1960s, the magnificent building was chosen for demolition because it no longer attracted the crowds that it had once brought into the city. Any interest in saving the structure itself was ignored."

There was no interest in saving these stations because they were rife with the putrid stench of white supremacy and they were eye-sores to Black people who were once incapable of walking into them without being arrested.

Philadelphia, Portland, New York, Memphis, Birmingham and Atlanta all once had glamorous buildings that acted as transportation hubs for the rail system, but were razed by Black people whom found these buildings an unpleasant reminder of a sordid past of hate and bigotry.

Detroit has the Michigan Central Station, but has been left in disrepair and will be torn down in the coming years as that city is walled off from humanity.

Birmingham, Alabama - a city on the verge of collapsing - was once home to the Birmingham Terminal Station:

"As automobile ownership increased and air travel gained popularity, rail travel suffered. By 1960 only 26 trains per day went through Terminal Station. At the beginning of 1969 it was down to seven trains. During the 1960s the station served as the site of numerous small episodes of the Civil Rights Movement. Local Civil Rights leaders like Fred Shuttlesworth challenged the racially-segregated accommodations of the station and crowds of belligerent whites gathered, sometimes leading to violence.

In 1969 the U.S. Social Security Administration announced plans to build a consolidated service center in downtown Birmingham. A local developer quietly put together a plan for a $10 million redevelopment for the site of the deteriorating station. The redevelopment, which the developer pitched to the Southern Railway, then sole-operator of the station, would include a smaller, more modern train terminal along with a new Social Security building, two smaller office buildings and a large hotel.

Permission to proceed with demolition was granted on June 30, 1969 by the Alabama Public Service Commission. They set aside the arguments of a handful of preservationists in attendance saying that they could only consider "the necessity and convenience of the traveling public." In its run-down state, the Terminal Station was judged to no longer meet those needs. Within a few months, the building was demolished and the site cleared."

A full list of demolished rail stations can be found here and a beautifully done website can be found here.

The full costs of racial integration can never fully be calculated, for white people had (and continue to have) no desire to live near Black people at all.

They will build suburbs and commute endless hours to avoid being near Black people, only adding to the further denigration of the environment:
"Lost time and endless aggravation are two of the biggest drawbacks of a grueling commute by car. But gridlock on the way to work also harms the environment by pumping extra pollution into the air and wasting precious fuel.

Overall, traffic congestion costs the U.S. economy $78 billion a year, wasting 2.9 billion gallons of fuel and robbing commuters of 4.2 billion hours, the study found."
Stuff Black People Don't Like would like to quantify the costs of racial integration in the United States, but that task is nearly impossible. It is in this entry that we believe in the reality of integration can be firmly established, for the take-over of major American cities by Black people prompted white people to move out and ended all hope of the rail system becoming a staple in post- World War II American life.

Thus Stuff Black People Don't Like includes magnificent train stations, for these icons of Pre-Obama America were the first landmarks that were toppled when integration happened, for Black people were reminded of the nefarious ways of white people by looking at these colossal achievements.

#231. Peddling Real Tickets to Sporting Events

Ask yourself this question and the answer will be provided after a few seconds of deliberation: Where do Black people get all those tickets to scalp to people without tickets before seemingly every sporting event in the country?

Ready for answer? The tickets are fake, forgeries manufactured by brilliant con-artists who might be counted in the 34.5 percent of Black people who are unemployed, but who nonetheless "make bank" before sporting events peddling worthless pieces of paper to unsuspecting white people:
"Ticket resale is the act of reselling tickets for admission to events. Tickets are bought from licensed sellers and are then sold for a price determined by the individual or company in possession of the tickets.

Tickets sold through secondary sources may be sold for less or more than their face value depending on demand, which itself tends to vary as the event date approaches. When the supply of tickets for a given event available through authorized ticket sellers is depleted, the event is considered "sold out", generally increasing the market value for any tickets on offer through secondary sellers."
Black people are to be found in droves outside sporting events in nearly every major city, attempting to sell tickets to those deprived of seats to said event, even though those tickets are more often than not fake:

"We haven't seen too many counterfeit tickets this season. But, that typically happens for the highest demanded game of the year, which — this year — is USC," said Notre Dame Senior Assistant Athletic Director Josh Berlo.

It's one reason why Richard Gauthier and his son, Ryan, didn't take any chances.

Ryan flew in all the way from Las Vegas to meet his dad headed into town from Michigan's Upper Peninsula. It's a "reunion weekend" that began as a Christmas present last year. And the two say they didn't want to take any chances they might get burned by a scam.

"I didn't travel all this way to lose," said Ryan with a laugh.

"Tickets are really hard to get," agreed Richard.

"That's why I went right to StubHub and paid the extra money. It's a lot better sense of mind than getting a scalper ticket right about now," Ryan continued.
Interestingly, ticket counterfeiting has been called one of the largest growing areas of criminal activity in the United States:
"Technology has exacerbated the problem. "Counterfeiting of documents, including tickets, is the fastest growing crime in the United States," said Kirk Schulz, president of Premier Southern Ticketing in Cincinnati and an expert on document fraud."Bank robbers don't steal anything compared to document forgers."
And this is one market where Black people have displayed an incredible acumen in cornering, as engaging in criminal activity is nothing new to Black people and the prospects of jail time for offering a forged ticket to an eager buyer is just a fantastic real-life example of supply and demand.

How can one spot fake tickets? Chances are if a Black person is scalping them that they are fake.

Some great tips for those to lazy to buy tickets from a reputable source and in need of a quick fix before the big game:

"Not only that, but with recent advancements in technology, the fake tickets are getting much harder to spot. Photo quality printers, scanners, and stock paper have made it easier for fake ticket scalpers to fool customers — and occasionally even ticket handlers at sporting events.

With fake tickets getting more advanced every day, how can you be sure the ticket you are being offered on the street is legitimate? First, you should always be familiar with the appearance of the tickets at this particular sporting arena. Never buy a ticket off the street if it is your first time attending a game at a venue — you will have no knowledge of what the tickets should look like, which will make it easy for you to get ripped off by an unscrupulous ticket seller."

Could Black people just be the middle-men for a vast ticket conspiracy, the corporate face for an conglomerate of defrauders who lurk in the darkness to rob hardworking and unsuspecting people of their hard earned money? Doubtful, although this vast conspiracy of ticket counterfeiters does operate in every city where large sporting venues exist and gullible white people can be found to purchase the fake ticket.

(An interesting case study of Ticket Scalping is found here: notice how the Black people refuse to be interviewed).

But this problem isn't going away, for fake tickets offer a high yield investment for Black people hoping to make a quick buck in a scam more sound than the lottery, and they can find unsuspecting white people in virtually every corner of the nation:

"About 100 LSU football fans -- a record number -- bought phony tickets for Saturday's game against Florida, and university police are looking for the counterfeiter.

"They were very good replicas of real tickets," athletics spokesman Herb Vincent said. "To the average person on the street, it'd be incredibly hard to recognize."

Athletics officials don't know of a larger number at an LSU game, he said. "It's an unfortunate byproduct of being No. 1 in the country."
Big cities, small cities... no municipality is safe from the counterfeiting prowess of Black people and their incredible ability to barter these fake tickets in exchange for real money:
"Indianapolis police arrested three men during Sunday's Colts game on suspicion of selling fraudulent tickets to that event and being involved in a nationwide sports counterfeiting ring. The men, all from Atlanta, also sold fake tickets during the Super Bowl and were involved in a counterfeit-ticket operation that spanned several states and has become the focus of an FBI investigation, police said." (pictures of those men can be found here)
Again, where do all those Black people outside the stadiums in every city in America get these tickets? Through illegal methods, for Stuff Black People Don't Like includes peddling real tickets to sporting events, as manufacturing fake tickets and then selling them for major profit is one way that Black people put the "Black" in the black market.

Also, white people have been trained never to second guess Black people nor suspect them of any wrong doing, so the $4.5 billion dollar ticket resale industry can be counterfeited and cornered solely by Black people.

Back... to the Future

SBDPL will return with a vengeance tonight. We have two new posts for today and will post two posts each day this week - yes, even on Thanksgiving you can expect a heaping portion of SBPDL served extra delicious, with the stuffing on the side - to brighten the holiday.

Did you see 'The Blind Side'? It brought in $34 million over its opening weekend, which is an incredible amount of money, considering it was up against Twilight: New Moon (which did more than $140 million in three days).

For those who haven't read it yet, we offer a two-part (which will be part of a trilogy) introspective story on adoption - through a black and white glasses - by discussing the Michael Oher Story as honestly as we can here at SBPDL (perhaps the only honest review of the story on the internet).

Read the Reality of Adoption entry and Michael Oher Story entry and comment there. Quite interesting discussions are developing regarding adoption and white altruism, as opposed to Black altruism in the form of a Rolex watch being offered to Dr. Cleveland Enmom for his fine ability to resuscitate a patient:
Dr. Cleveland Enmon Accused of Neglect To Steal Rolex Watch10.0105

"Dr. Cleveland Enmon is an emergency room physician at St. Joseph’s Medical Center in Stockton . Dr. Enmon is accused of abandoning attempts to resuscitate a patient from cardiac arrest to instead pocket the dead man’s valuable Rolex wristwatch. The suit, filed by the adult children of Jerry Keith Kubena, Sr., alleges that Dr. Cleveland James Enmon on June 1 “formed the intent” to swipe the Rolex from Kubena’s wrist while treating the man at St. Joseph’s Medical Center in Stockton."

Black people find Rolex watches to die for, apparently, or worthy of abandoning the Hippocratic Oath over.

Also, if Youtube.com won't take it down, SBPDL has set up a Youtube.com channel, where we will begin uploading "newscasts" by the creator of the Stuff Black People Don't Like. You can follow us on Twitter; you can be a fan of us on Facebook - just type in SBPDL - and now, we will have the Youtube.com market cornered with the very first SBPDL video post.

So, enjoy the turkey and ham, the green beans and potatoes. Eat until your heart is content and spend quality time with your family. When you are ready for dessert, head on over to sbpdl.com, for the treats we have prepared for you will quench even the sweetest tooth imaginable.

SBPDL is going back... to the future this week. And where we are going, you don't need roads.

Christopher Kernich has died

Remember the Black people who were upset about being told to "watch out" in Akron, Ohio, by a white guy who was almost hit by their car?

You don't? Read about it here. Christopher Kernich was assaulted by Black people for merely saying "watch out" and is now dead.

He died for telling Black people to "watch out", for after this incendiary remark they got out of their car and beat him to death.

SBPDL will be quiet for one day to digest this news. In the mean time, go see "The Blind Side".

Had the Black people who assaulted and killed Kernich been raised by white people - like Michael Oher - they wouldn't have assaulted and killed Kernich for the mere fact he told them to "watch out".

RIP Christopher. Your tragic death won't be forgotten by SBPDL.

#24. Paying for Health care

Tomorrow, the United States Senate will begin debate on whether healthcare should be a right guaranteed to all by the federal government and paid for by the upstanding white citizenry of the country:

“The racial or ethnic composition of the 42.5 million non-payers roughly mirrors the demographics of American tax filers as a whole. For example, white Americans are 83 percent of total taxpayers, and the percentage of zero-tax filers who are white is 79 percent. African Americans are roughly 13 percent of total taxpayers and 16 percent of zero-tax filers. Asian Americans comprise 3.6 percent of total taxpayers and 3.2 percent of zero-tax filers.

That said, the percentage of non-payers within each ethnic or racial group does vary: 28.6 percent of Asian Americans tax filers get back every dollar withheld, 31.1 percent of white American tax filers will owe nothing, and 41.7 percent of African Americans will file a tax return with no liability."

The current estimated price tag for the implementation of universal healthcare is at a cool $1.5 trillion, as close to 50 million Americans currently our uninsured. If healthcare legislation in enacted, it will once again be white people (a mere 66 percent of the overall population) who will fit the bill (remember, they account for 83 percent of the taxpayers) who will shelter minorities from the cold:

“As 1 in 3 Americans self-identify as a member of a racial or ethnic minority group, and it is estimated that half of the U.S. population will be a person of color by 2045, there are significant health and economic consequences in eliminating, or failing to eliminate, disparities in access to health coverage and care. People of color are disproportionately served by public programs like Medicaid, and are less likely than Whites to receive health coverage through their employer. In addition, of the 45.7 million nonelderly Americans who were uninsured in 2008, more than half (55%) are people of color. Furthermore, a recent report estimated that 30.6%, or $230 billion, of direct medical expenditures between 2003 and 2006 were excess costs due to health and health care inequalities incurred by racial and ethnic minorities.”

Remember, Black people don’t pass on seconds, which puts them at a clear disadvantage when it comes to Black people’s health (take a look at the states with the best and worst overall health):
“The annual ranking looks at 22 indicators of health, including everything from how many children receive recommended vaccinations, to obesity and smoking rates, to cancer deaths. Vermont ranked first this year thanks in part to its low rate of obesity, high number of doctors and a low rate of child poverty. New England in general sets a benchmark for the country, the report found: All six New England states are in the top 10.

These states have favorable demographics and an excellent public health infrastructure, including a large number of doctors per capita.Eight of the 10 bottom-ranked states are from the south, with Mississippi coming in dead last for the ninth consecutive year. Mississippi has a sky-high death rate from heart disease and high infant mortality.”

Eight of the least healthy states come from the south? Wait, where is it that the majority of Black people reside in the United States? That’s right, the south:

The Black Population: 2000 [pdf], one in a series of Census 2000 briefs, shows that 36.4 million people, or 12.9 percent of the total population, reported as Black or African American. This number includes 34.7 million,or 12.3 percent, who reported as Black alone, in addition to 1.8 million,or 0.6 percent, who reported as Black in combination with one or moreother races.

The 10 states where 60 percent of African Americans resided were: NewYork, California, Texas, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, North Carolina,Maryland, Michigan and Louisiana. Five of these had more than 2 millionBlacks each: New York, California, Texas, Florida and Georgia.

Of all the people who reported as Black in Census 2000, 54 percent lived in the South, 19 percent lived in the Midwest, 18 percent lived in the Northeast and 10 percent lived in the West."

Bad health and Black people are – according to the data – synonymous with each other, and the new healthcare legislation will only burden the tax payer – 83 percent happen to be of the monochromatic hue of white – with higher taxes. Consider the state of Black America’s overall health:

In 2005, the death rate for African Americans was higher than Whites for heart diseases, stroke, cancer, asthma, influenza and pneumonia, diabetes, HIV/AIDS, and homicide.

In 2005, African American men were 1.3 times as likely to have new cases of lung and prostate cancer, compared to non-Hispanic white men.

African American men are twice as likely to have new cases of stomach cancer as non-Hispanic white men.

African Americans men have lower 5-year cancer survival rates for lung and pancreatic cancer, compared to non-Hispanic white men.

In 2005, African American men were 2.4 times as likely to die from prostate cancer, as compared to non-Hispanic white men.

In 2005, African American women were 10% less likely to have been diagnosed with breast cancer, however, they were 34% more likely to die from breast cancer, compared to non-Hispanic white women.

African American women are twice as likely to be diagnosed with stomach cancer, and they were 2.4 times as likely to die from stomach cancer, compared to non-Hispanic white women.
Click here for more statistics on African Americans and Cancer.

African American adults are twice as likely than non-Hispanic white adults to have been diagnosed with diabetes by a physician.

In 2002, African American men were 2.1 times as likely to start treatment for end-stage renal disease related to diabetes, compared to non-Hispanic white men.

In 2003, diabetic African Americans were 1.7 times as likely as diabetic Whites to be hospitalized.

In 2005, African Americans were 2.2 times as likely as non-Hispanic Whites to die from diabetes. Click here for more statistics on African Americans and Diabetes.

Heart Disease

In 2005, African American men were 30% more likely to die from heart disease, as compared to non-Hispanic white men.

African Americans are 1.5 times as likely as non-Hispanic whites to have high blood pressure.

African American women are 1.7 times as likely as non-Hispanic white women to be obese.
Click here for more statistics on African Americans and Heart Disease.

Although African Americans make up only 13% of the total U.S. population, they accounted for 49% of HIV/AIDS cases in 2007."

It looks like universal healthcare passing will greatly impact the wallet of white people, for the bills will pile up to ensure that Black people’s overall health improves.

The health bill must be passed and Black legislators in Congress voted nearly unanimously for ratification, save for one, whom found himself the target of Jesse Jackson’s rhetorical bullets (remember, Mein Obama has been his target as well, er… his nuts):

"The Rev. Jesse Jackson on Wednesday night criticized Rep. Artur Davis (D-Ala.) for voting against the Democrats’ signature healthcare bill.“We even have blacks voting against the healthcare bill from Alabama,” Jackson said at a reception Wednesday night.

“You can’t vote against healthcare and call yourself a black man.”…He is also the only member of the CBC to have voted against the healthcare bill earlier this month.…Other members of the CBC found no fault in Jackson's words. Rep. Emanuel Cleaver (D-Mo.) was in the audience.

He called Jackson's criticism of Davis "accurate," but said he did not hear Jackson say "You can’t vote against healthcare and call yourself a black man."

"If it is an issue that disproportionately impacts black folks, race has to be considered," Cleaver said. Jackson, he added, "is expected by his constituency to call balls and strikes."

It was hoped that with the election of Barack Obama we would live in a post-racial world, but instead we live in a world where racial strife seems to be aggregating at an exponential rate."

Atlanta – SBPDL’s favorite city – is home to Grady Memorial Hospital, which:

“…serves a large proportion of low-income patients. The hospital is supported almost entirely by Fulton and DeKalb counties, with little help from the suburbs or state, despite serving all of metro Atlanta's several counties.Grady has also suffered from corruption and cronyism.

In 2005, a state senator was convicted of using his influence to secure overpriced Grady contracts for his temporary services business. It is further plagued by staff shortages and anachronistic technology - notably as one of every five Medicaid reimbursement billings were rejected by the state due to filing mistakes.”

Let’s take a closer look at Grady, a hospital that grants “free” healthcare to the citizens of Atlanta:

“Solving some of Grady’s financial problems would also stir political tensions, the task force soon learned.Minority communities feared Grady, which cares for many of metro Atlanta’s uninsured and under-insured, would no longer serve them.

Founded in 1892, Grady provides about $270 million — 40 percent of its budget — in free health care per year.

“I think me being a part of the committee brought some level of sensitivity and integrity to the African-American community,” Russell said. “I certainly was very clear the mission was not to discontinue services to the minority community, but to enhance the quality of service.”

The task force not only sought financial solutions to Grady, but had to “educate the community on what Grady meant,” said Correll, now chairman of Grady Memorial Hospital Corp., which oversees Grady Health System.”

How was Grady so mismanaged you might ask? The answer might surprise some:

"Its (GRADY) budget of about $750 million was largely dependent on Medicaid patients; Grady is the state's largest Medicaid provider.

The hospital took a double blow in 2006 when the state legislature sliced $60 million out of the hospital's already strained budget and the hospital's indigent care bill swelled by $73 million.

It left a staggering gap between Grady's expenses and its income.

``It, in effect, sunk us,'' said Dr. Christopher Edwards, former vice-chair of the Fulton Dekalb Hospital Authority.…The next day, Grady's CEO, Dr. Otis Story, resigned. He had been at the helm for less than a year, often at odds with Grady's leadership. Now he would not be a part of the new plan.

A week later Edwards announced his departure, and a list of nominees for the new nonprofit board was unveiled. The list, which identified 11 of the 16 proposed members, included black and white citizens from the business and healthcare communities.

The names did little to put Fort at ease.

``The people who were named were not engaged in this issue,'' Fort said. ``And the money is tied to a specific person. That person's going to drive the train.''

Fort is referring to Correll. To Fort, Correll a former Georgia-Pacific CEO represents the white takeover of Grady, which is currently run by a majority-black board, serves mostly black patients and was most recently headed by a black man.

``What they're basically saying is, 'We cannot trust black people to run that hospital,''' Fort said. ``The changes at Grady are a signal that Atlanta is changing.''

Fort sees Grady is the first domino as the business community eyes opportunities to usurp the city's black political power.

``What's next? MARTA? Hartsfield?'' Fort asked, referring to Atlanta's public transportation system and airport.”

Black political power in Atlanta is waning, which could help save Grady. MARTA and Hartsfield will be the subject of another conversation...

Healthcare reform in the United States is important, but free healthcare put Grady Memorial Hospital in a hole it will never climb out of and worse, merely changing the color scheme of the Board of Directors of that organization is grounds for racial insensitivity and racist.

Worse, the changing demographics of America will result in an erosion of the majority of the tax base, which will only cause taxes to go up. Grady Memorial Hospital is a microcosm of the problems healthcare that is universally guaranteed will cause.

Black people can’t admit the failure of that hospital is on their hands.

Black people won’t admit the massive costs of universal healthcare will be on their hands either, although the data cited in this article shows whom will benefit most from free care.

Obviously, Stuff Black People Don’t Like includes paying for healthcare, for Obama will not only pass legislation that will pay for Black people’s mortgages and gas, but also their healthcare… all on that evil, white devil’s dime. For we know Black people don't listen to CDC, thus white stewardship must include fitting the bill for Black health.
