What is Superman Renouncing?

What exactly is Superman renouncing?
In 2006's Superman Returns, a boring and uninspired sequel to Superman 2, the Man of Steel has been gone for five years on a soul-searching mission back to his home planet hoping to find some sign of Krypton. Upon his return to earth, the editor of The Daily Planet has a meeting with his entire staff and demands each section to devote coverage to Superman, ending his commands with this:
"Does he still stand for truth, justice, all that stuff?" he says.
The New York Times pointed out that so-called right-wing blogs went nuts that the film-makers would dare omit "truth, justice, and the American way," for isn't Superman the ultimate embodiment of Americana?:
The most recent incarnation to use the 1950's phrase was the 1978 Christopher Reeve movie, "Superman." When Lois first interviews the Man of Steel, she asks why he's here, and he responds straight-faced: "I'm here to fight for truth, justice and the American way." It's the first time Superman himself ever uses the phrase — a bold move considering how cynical the country had become after the Vietnam War and Watergate. That cynicism is reflected in Lois's response: "You're going to end up fighting every elected official in this country!

Some people are now objecting to the fact that "Superman Returns" omits the phrase. Perry White asks his reporters to find out more about the Man of Steel after his five-year absence. "Does he still stand for truth, justice, all that stuff?" he says. Right-wing blogs are already red-faced at the slight.

There's no reason to be upset. Superman is right back where he began: fighting a never-ending battle for truth and justice. That should be enough to occupy any man. Even a Superman.
Now comes word that Superman has renounced his citizenship in Action Comics #900:
The key scene takes place in "The Incident," a short story in Action Comics #900 written by David S. Goyer with art by Miguel Sepulveda. In it, Superman consults with the President's national security advisor, who is incensed that Superman appeared in Tehran to non-violently support the protesters demonstrating against the Iranian regime, no doubt an analogue for the recent real-life protests in the Middle East. However, since Superman is viewed as an American icon in the DC Universe as well as our own, the Iranian government has construed his actions as the will of the American President, and indeed, an act of war.
It doesn't seem that he's abandoning those values, however, only trying to implement them on a larger scale and divorce himself from the political complexities of nationalism. Superman also says that he believes he has been thinking "too small," that the world is "too connected" for him to limit himself with a purely national identity. As an alien born on another planet, after all, he "can't help but see the bigger picture."
Having long been interpreted as a tool of the United States government (see Frank Miller's dystopian Dark Knight Returns where a 50-year-old Batman is considered the number one threat of the USA and Ronald Reagan commands Superman to stop him once and for all), with the so-called "racist" comic scribe Mark Millar even penning Red Son, a version of the Superman story where he lands in the USSR instead of the USA and becomes an agent of the communist state, Superman's repudiation of his citizenship is somehow viewed as troublesome. Salon has a good article here.

When one understands that "the American way" in the 21st century means invading the world and inviting the world (thanks Steve Sailer for that one), why would any superhero distance themselves from this leftist ideology? Knowing that Marvel and DC (the two big comic publishing houses) are incredibly left-wing, what is really going on with this renouncing American citizenship by the illegal alien Kal-el, better known as Clark Kent?

In the past 10 years, Marvel has published stories where the vigilante The Punisher threatens President George W. Bush in the Oval Office with assassination (not that we defend Bush, but would they even consider doing the same for Obama?); published a fawning Spiderman comic with Barack Obama on the cover and a fist-bump between between the wall-crawler and Mein Obama on the inside; published a Captain America story where the Tea Party (that storyline is called Two Americas) is depicted as a bunch of racists and anyone longing for the old United States is a "Nazi"; and, turned both the Kingpin and Nick Fury characters Black in their movie franchises in a bid to add diversity to a roster full of white guys. We can't forget Heimdall in the movie Thor.
DC comics killed off Batman, brought him back and in his short stint as a corpse, he decided to incorporate the Batman franchise and appoint a Muslim as the guardian of France. Back in the early 2000s, in a move to make up for the lack of Black people in Batman: The Animated Series and a strange attempt at making Lex Luthor, Superman's arch-enemy, Black in the 1997- 2000 Superman cartoon, DC made the Green Lantern character Black in the Justice League cartoon. They did this because it wouldn't "be good to only have white people save the world." More on this below.

It seems superheroes are only fighting for social justice as opposed to some insidious force. Racialicious pointed how diversity in comics seems contrived, but the main point is the majority of the most popular superheroes have been around for more than 40 years and they were created when their actually was an American way to defend.

People seem to forget, but America was 90 percent white in 1964. That Superman, Batman, Green Lantern and most of the Justice League, plus most of the Marvel Universe characters are white is but a reflection that the idea of being an "American" actually meant something instead of some frivolous and undefinable word like a commitment to freedom.

In fact, we've reached the point where anyone hoping to defend "America" is obviously the villain in a comic book as reflected in The Punisher storyline with a character called The Hate-Monger:
A new Hate-Monger appeared wearing a version of Captain America's uniform, and is seen murdering illegal immigrants, claiming "America belongs to Americans." This Hate-Monger and his organization were all wiped out by the Punisher, who wore his own version of the Captain America uniform for the occasion.
Is it a "white privilege" to have a bunch of white guys - created when the country was 90 percent white - as superheroes who go around saving the world? Black people have every opportunity to create iconic characters and if they don't garner an audience, is that the fault of white comic book fans?

Back in 2001, Cartoon Network unveiled a Justice League cartoon, complete with a much needed Black character. Instead of the traditional white Green Lantern, the Justice League now had a Black Green Lantern (not online, but published in the November 9, 2001 edition of The Atlanta Journal Constitution):
He becomes the only major black character in the Cartoon Network’s (CN) regular lineup and one of the very few in any animated series.
Executives at CN, which is part of AOL Time Warner’s Atlanta-based Turner Broadcasting System, said they have sought to have more black characters in general but that they never suggested the Green Lantern character to the making “Justice League.”
Create and producer Bruce Timm, a sort of star in the confined world of superhero TV animation, said he chose a black superhero “so it wasn’t just a bunch of white guys saving the universe every day.”

Timm doesn’t think most viewers will give much thought to Green Lantern’s skin color. But, he added, “I would hope black audiences would watch those and say, ‘There is somebody I can relate to.’
More than 20 percent of the CN’s viewers are black.

It’s an effort that should be undertaken with sensitivity, said Linda Simensky, the network’s senior vice president of original animation. Cartoon characters are by nature extreme personalities, often ripe for mockery. “You don’t want your first lead African-American character on the network to be shown in a negative light,” she said.

The selection has irritated some superhero fans. “On one hand they are mad we aren’t using their favorite version of the character,” Timm said. “On the other hand they are accusing of us of being hopelessly P.C. (politically correct).”

Timm please guilty to that last one. “It’s is a P.C. kind of move, but I don’t think it hurts anything.”
Isn't it funny that Timm admits the move to make a Black Green Lantern was a purely 'P.C' move and that white people couldn't be seen saving the world alone?

Being an American doesn't mean that much anymore save doing everything possible to save the world while simultaneously doing everything possible to inundate your country with the rest of the world. Why Superman would object to this is beyond us at SBPDL.

Basically, we have become a notion, not a nation. We a proposition nation, governed by a form of tyranny we call Black-Run America (BRA). That Superman has turned his back on this concept makes little sense, because by becoming an agent of the world he is fulfilling the new concept of "truth, justice, and the American way."

As you can tell, comic books are incredible politically correct, constantly trying to create new Black superheroes though "Black books" continue to sell poorly.

The best way to market Black characters is to just change the race of an established character. Samuel L. Jackson plays the white Nick Fury in Iron Man, Iron Man 2 and the upcoming Thor, Captain America and The Avengers.
The Black pimp in 1977's Superman

You see, in this proposition America the continued presence of white people is a huge nuisance and eventually all superheroes will undergo racial alternations. Why invent new characters and new mythologies when making a Black Green Lantern and manufacturing positive images for Black people is a simple, yet P.C. move?

We've argued before that comic book movies saved Hollywood and big studios in the 2000s, yet most of these superheroes were of the white variety.

So goodbye Superman. Renouncing your American citizenship doesn't mean much to us, when the principles you'll fight for have become the primary notions behind what this nation has become.

We'll always remember the 1977 Superman film, which was made when this was still a country. That movie contained the immortal scene when Clark Kent changes into Superman for the first time and a Black pimp is (the only Black resident of Metropolis) is the first to spy the last son of Krypton in his outfit. The Black pimp comments to Superman, "that's a bad outfit," to which Superman politely states, "Excuse me," as he flies off to save Lois Lane. Watch the clip here (starts at the 0:44 mark).

The script for the Superman film explains the scene as such:

An incredibly garish BLACK PIMP exits an alley doorway, stoned, stops in awe as he, sees: SUPERMAN in full costume heading towards him, determined.

Say, Jim! That is a bad outfit...

Excuse me...

With a burst or energy SUPERMAN rises from the ground, flies up into the night sky. The PIMP watches in wonder.

Wait a minute, Jim! Who's your tailor, baby?
Who cuts your threads?
Before the advent of Black Fictional Images in film (this started in the 1980s), that was the best Hollywood script writers could come up with for Black characters.

That incarnation of Superman actually stood for "Truth, Justice, and the America."

What Happens When a Nation goes 365Black: One Million People Apply for 50,000 Jobs at McDonald's

The United States of America has officially adopted the marketing strategy of McDonald's. We are a 365Black nation.
A cut scene from "Red Dawn" at a McDonald's

We are a nation that worries about the effect shutting down Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac might have on the 50 percent of its employees who are minority (what about the 50 percent who aren't?). We are a nation that worries about shutting down government services because Black people receive a disproportionate share of them.

We are a nation that worries about shutting down government agencies, because Black people are disproportionately employed there (the private sector is finding it increasingly difficult to employ Black people):
Opening up the housing market evolved from anti-discrimination laws to the right to government-supplied decent housing, and if that option was unobtainable, government would subsidize private housing or mandate (and guarantee) below-market home mortgages.  Laws banning racial discrimination in employment were similarly supplanted by government jobs to soak up black unemployment (blacks now comprise one out of every five non-postal federal employees).  Head Start replaced the local babysitter and mandated integration became oversize bureaucracies to assure equal outcomes.  In cities with sizable black populations, e.g., Detroit or Newark, municipal jobs became life-savers.  Washington has also repeatedly extended unemployment benefits, a benefit that disproportionately helps blacks given their higher levels of joblessness. In a nutshell, for many African Americans "civil rights" has come to mean government generosity, a generosity increasingly financed by borrowing.
McDonald's coined the term 365Black as part of a new marketing strategy in a bid to appeal to 13 percent of population that is Black. Bragging that 20 percent of their workforce is Black (50 percent is minority or women), McDonald's represents the goals of what a Black-Run America (BRA) nation would look like. Here is a PDF Fact Sheet of McDonald's commitment to achieving 365Black in owner/operator, employees, and agenda.

Judging by the demographic of the public workforce, the government mirrors McDonald's commitment to 365Black.

Named Fortune's Best Company for Minorities in 2003 and 2004, McDonald's was once a great first job for high school students trying to learn about responsibility, saving, professionalism, and time management (study to enter college, while working). Now McDonald's jobs are for those Black people that don't graduate high school or value any of the aforementioned qualities such a fast food first-job should instill.

Did they apply for a job at McDonald's?
Instead, McDonald's is a career for these largely unemployable Black people (hey, the government can't shoulder all the work in employing Black people). We have asked before why Black people think the future is going to better, when the majority of Black people aren't qualified to be greeter at Wal-Mart.

You recall last week the violence that occurred at the Cleveland McDonald's, where a Black person ran over three Black people trying to fill out a job application. Well, Tyler Durden of reports that more than 1 million applications were submitted for the 50,000 part-time jobs McDonald was offering nationwide:

This is what the US economy has been reduced to: McDonalds reports that as part of its employment event to hire 50,000 minimum wage, part-time (mostly) workers, subsequently raised to 62,000 it received a whopping 1 million applications, or a Tim Geithner jealousy inducing 6.2% hit rate (h/t X. Kurt. OSis). Alas, the US economy is now so pathetic that the bulk of the population will settle for anything. Literally anything. And the saddest part: over 938,000 applicants were turned away. Here's hoping to Burger King needs a few million janitors in the immediate future too. And yes, aside from reality, things in America are really recovering quite nicely.
From Bloomberg:
McDonald’s and its franchisees hired 62,000 people in the U.S. after receiving more than one million applications, the Oak Brook, Illinois-based company said today in an e-mailed statement. Previously, it said it planned to hire 50,000.

The April 19 national hiring day was the company’s first, said Danya Proud, a McDonald’s spokeswoman. She declined to disclose how many of the jobs were full- versus part-time. McDonald’s employed 400,000 workers worldwide at company-owned stores at the end of 2010, according to a company filing.

Earlier this month, McDonald’s said sales at stores open at least 13 months climbed 2.9 percent in the U.S. after it attracted more diners with items such as beverages and the Chipotle BBQ Bacon Angus burger. The fast-food chain has about 14,000 stores in the U.S. and more than 18,000 abroad. About 80 percent of all McDonald’s stores are franchised.
Knowing McDonald's commitment to diversity and Black hiring (just consult this PDF), do we even need to guess what percentage of the 62,000 new hires are Black? How about what percentage of the 1 million applicants were Black?

The United States of America is done unless people in positions of power admit the massive problem we have in our midst. Knowing that no such people exist and knowing that attaining positions of power in America means a total commitment to Black-Run America (BRA), it's time to point out the obvious that can be discerned from this story of 1 million people applying for work at McDonald's:

Protect yourself and your family over the summer of 2011.

Rising gas prices means people with fixed incomes (think those 18 percent of Americans who subsist on government entitlements) will have less money to pay for food. Wal-Mart is already saying consumers are running out of money and they have stated inflation is coming.

Consult Web sites like to keep track of actual crime in your city and notice trends. The media will not report them; you must seek out the truth.

We are approaching our two-year anniversary of being online here at Stuff Black People Don't Like. Going from a blog that was an obvious - an inferior - spoof of Stuff White People Like, we've built up a loyal following, published a book and are preparing to publish yet another book that coincides with the release of Thor.

If you enjoy this Web site, we ask that you do two things: post links to us at other Web sites and in forums and send our site to your friends via Twitter, FaceBook and E-mail. It's too late wake up most people for what is coming.

When you read stories of the Black middle-class fleeing large, majority Black urban areas (like Detroit, Atlanta, Birmingham, and Philadelphia) everything you need to know about the Black Undertow is available in their actions.

Over the next week, this Web site will sporadically post old stories from the past two years (maybe a few new ones). We have to finish Hollywood in Blackface, a book that is near and dear to our hearts. Film and television have been one of the primary mechanism for manufacturing false images of Black people to the American consumer, and in this book you'll learn exactly when that moment started.

So, if you enjoy the site, post links to us everywhere on the Internet. Send an E-mail with our stories to your favorite pundit (or least favorite). Hey, you can even buy SBPDL Year on Amazon and write a customer review. It's available on Kindle now too.

We've developed a brand at SBPDL. Some might like it; some might hate us.

Just know that Black-Run America is collapsing all around us, and that an opportunist like Donald Trump has shown that courage is the only ally needed in bringing it down.

The United States has become a 365Black. Like McDonald's, this is unhealthy. As Morgan Spurlock showed in Supersize Me, going 365Black is incredibly bad for ones health.

Let this be a metaphor for what going 365Black means for a nation.

Tears Flow from "The Onion" over Trump's Victory on the Birther Question

"The Blacks" crying over Trump
Lawrence Auster nails it (OneSTDV as well) when it comes to the Barack Obama’s Birth Certificate, an issue we don’t care about. It’s hilarious that Mein Obama allowed a debate to fester for three years when he could have released it during his run for the presidency.
Instead of giving fodder to Birthers, Mein Obama could have easily said, “Hey, here it is guys, calm down.”   But instead it took Donald Trump to step up to the plate and make the ultimate demand: “Whup it out and show it to us, dude."

A man “the Blacks” hate, Trump has now exposed the groupthink within the Black community, so much so that it is now crystal clear: ANY criticism of Mein Obama is racist.
Baratunde Thurston, the Web editor at, is heartbroken over how Donald Trump took credit for making Mein Obama release a document almost three years into his presidency that could have been released on day one.

In this video, found at, he admits to crying over the situation. He calls Trump a “racist” and a “Klansman” and states that his fortune is built upon “racism.”
Here’s what he said:
”[…] I began to cry. I thought of my ancestors, both direct and collective, who had fought and died so that I might be treated as an American. I then thought of this fetid, smug, hate-filled, wealthy white man taking credit for the release and yet still not being satisfied. It does not matter how long we’ve been in these United States. We will never be American.

So, tears in my eyes, pain in my heart and rage in my soul, I composed this video message. More than written text, it comes close to expressing my full pain at witnessing a white man who was handed everything call the President of the United States (and me) a nigger.”
In less than one month, Donald Trump has exposed “the Blacks” as a monolithic entity that will rally around a president because of the one-drop rule.Mein Obama is Black, and so any criticism of him is obviously criticism of the entire Black race.
These are things we will look back upon, both the Birther question and “the Blacks'” reaction to a simple question, and realize the clarity we've been handed.
Millions of Americans believed the Birther’s position, and Mein Obama’s reluctance to release the document only exacerbated the situation. That it took a so-called Klansman in Donald Trump to force Obama’s hand is a sign of how pusillanimous Republicans have become.
In Black-Run America (BRA), one is supposed to defer any public criticism of Black people to the confines of one’s home, but Donald Trump has violated this rule. The entire Disingenuous White Liberal (DWL) infrastructure is targeting him for demonstrating such chutzpah in the very face of BRA.
Tavis Smiley has already gone on record and said the 2012 election will be the most “racist” ever because people will criticize Mein Obama. In the minds of “the Blacks,” criticism of Mein Obama is tantamount to “racism.”
Wanda Sikes, a comedian we like, was wrong when she said this at the 2009 White House Correspondent’s Dinner:
"It's amazing, the first black president – I know you're biracial – but the first black president!" she said. "That's unless you screw up. Then it's going to be, 'What's up with the half-white guy, huh?'"
Thank you, Baratunde Thurston, for videotaping your thoughts on Donald Trump and declaring anyone who dares criticize Mein Obama as a “racist” and a “Klansman.”
Sorry that you cried over the whole situation. All we do here at SBPDL is laugh, laugh that the Birther issue became this heated and so divisive. That “the Blacks” will now rally around a leader who allowed a debate to continue because of his steadfast refusal to release a simple document (What are you hiding, Barry?) is a clear-cut indication that Mein Obama will never be that “half-white guy” Sykes joked about.

The Philadelphia Experiment: The Streets of Philly Forever Changed

Liberty isn't cracked; the future of Philly is
(Sorry this one is so long... the more we researched Philadelphia, the more needed to be added)

When the population that built and sustained a city is replaced with a different population group - harboring opposing cultural values and norms, plus ability – it’s obvious that that city is in for a rude-awakening.

At a time when DeWayne Wickham writes a column in USA Today chastising Mein Obama for failing to address the Black unemployable rate, news of Philadelphia's transformation from majority white to a plurality of Black people has been reported.

Did we say unemployable? We meant unemployment. Sorry about that. The Huffington Post reports that the Black unemployable… unemployment, Black unemployment rate is reaching Depression-era levels in some cities.
Discrimination in Black-Run America is only aimed at white people (that’s what diversity really means, replacing white workers with non-white workers), so relying on the trusty old excuse of racism isn’t going to cut it. Not when the EEOC and the Department of (in) Justice are prepared to sue on the behalf of minority employees.
Our hero, Richard Lapchick, just published a report entitled The 2010-11 Associated Press Sports Editors Racial and Gender Report Card, which laments the lack of People of Color (PoC) in sports newsrooms across the country. The key element to understanding “diversity” is contained in the first quote from Lapchick below:
“The worst news was perhaps that the percentage of sports editors who were women or people of color fell 2.3 percentage points from 11.7 percent in 2008 to 9.42 percent in 2010. White males in particular increased by 3.0 percentage points for sports editors.
“But there was good news with gains for women and people of color in the categories of assistant sports editors, columnists and reporters. For columnists, the percentage of women or people of color jumped 5.7 percentage points (from 17.5 percent to 23.2 percent). The increase for assistant sports editors was 2.8 percentage points (from 19.3 percent to 22.1 percent), and for reporters, it was 2.4 percentage points (from 20.8 percent to 23.2 percent).”
That kind of honesty from Lapchick about what “diversity” really means isn’t found at It’s only good news for “diversity” when white people are replaced with PoC. Judging by the state of Detroit and Birmingham, two cities that were once majority white but now are 90 percent Black, replacing white people with Black people and “diversity” wasn’t cause for celebration. Now Philadelphia, a city that once was overwhelmingly white, now has a plurality of Black people:
African descendants have called Philadelphia home for centuries, with the first U.S. Census, in 1790, listing 2,099 "free" blacks and 373 slaves.

Today, the city's black population is 644,287, according to the latest census, and for the first time it clearly outnumbers all other racial or ethnic groups. (See graphic.)
This evolution happened even though the number of African Americans in the city, excluding Hispanics, declined about 1,800 over the last decade and their share of the population remained about the same.

Key to the new black plurality: the continued steep decline in the city's white population. In 2000, each group accounted for about 42 percent of city residents, but the white share is now 37 percent, after a loss of 82,000 people.

Meanwhile, an influx of Hispanics, Asians, and other groups - now 21 percent of the city's 1.5 million people - boosted Philadelphia's total for the first time in 50 years.
The black plurality coincides with another trend: More and more middle- and working-class African Americans are leaving the city for suburbia. Since 2000, the black population of the city's Pennsylvania suburbs jumped 26 percent - by 47,000.
"You need to look at it not only from a racial-ethnic point of view, but also the distribution of incomes," said Mark Mather, senior demographer with the Population Reference Bureau, a nonprofit in Washington that interprets census data.

Are relatively "higher-income blacks moving away from the city, leaving behind a poorer population without a lot of prospects?" he asked. "That wouldn't bode well."
Jacquelynn Puriefoy-Brinkley, a former president of Yeadon Borough Council, is a retiree in her 70s. She recalled moving to Yeadon with her parents in 1947, along with other "mostly upper-middle-class" black residents who lived in an enclave on one side of town.

Puriefoy-Brinkley's father owned several businesses and was a salesman for Wyeth Pharmaceuticals.

In the late 1940s and early 1950s, Yeadon was about 10 percent black, she said. Over time, a larger cross section of African Americans from the city moved in.

Today Yeadon is 88 percent black. NAACP membership forms are available at the circulation desk of the public library. A shopping strip includes the Mohammad Ali Variety Store across the street from the Harlem Cafe.

Going from virtually all white to virtually all black is certainly no triumph of coexistence, Puriefoy-Brinkley acknowledged, but she feels the pattern of movement has been basically positive.

"Maybe the upside," she said, "is that people who didn't have opportunities to live in decent housing or walkable communities have those opportunities now."
With whites abandoning the city, the school system has become a violent reminder of what an all-Black city looks like. The children of the new Philadelphia will start getting condoms at the age of 11, after a study came out reporting that 25 percent of students were sexually active. Larry Auster reported that The Philadelphia Inquirer was running a story on the horrific conditions of schools in the city, where Black grade school students were engaging behavior similar to that found in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Nothing is shocking anymore:
At Southwark Elementary, a K-8 school in South Philadelphia in October 2010, a 10-year-old boy "body slammed" into his teacher with such force that she suffered a concussion as she fell to the ground.

In June 2009, a Douglass Elementary student issued a startling warning to a second grader at the K-8 school in North Philadelphia whom she was choking: "I know where you live, and I will burn your house down."

In April 2008, in a third-grade classroom at Taylor Elementary, a K-5 school in Hunting Park, one child held a knife against a classmate's throat and threatened to cut off his head if he snitched.

At the K-8 Morris Elementary in North Philadelphia in February 2008, an angry 9-year-old punched his pregnant teacher in the stomach.

In December 2007, on the playground at Richmond Elementary, a K-5 school in Port Richmond, a 10-year-old girl's classmate forced her head down to his groin.

During the 2009-10 school year, an Inquirer analysis shows, eight of the top 10 highest rates for morals crimes in the district were recorded in elementary schools.

More than half of the 177 elementary schools - including K-8 buildings and other early learning schools - reported a morals crime in 2009-10. Ninety percent have dealt with at least one sex crime in the last five years.

The school system is also overwhelmed with young students living amid poverty, violence, and disorder, some of them largely unparented.

Often, the district has failed to heed the warning signs of violence in its youngsters and figure out a systemic plan to address the problem, with dire consequences.

"By the time they get to middle school and high school, [violence] metastasizes like cancer," said Charles A. Williams 3d, director of the Center for Prevention of School-Aged Violence at Drexel University.
That 72 percent of Black kids in the United States are raised by a single parent (don’t forget the invisible parent, the American taxpayer) shows why the problems found in Philadelphia are widespread (here’s a breakdown of single-parent households for states by race).
Escape from Philadelphia?
This article from 1996 had hope that the Black crime rate would drop in Philadelphia. 15 years later, we know such hopes were misplaced.  Back in 2007, Black people marched together in “The City of Brotherly Love” hoping to end Black-on-Black crime. USA Today reported:
Thousands of black men turned out Sunday to support a volunteer effort aimed at reducing violence in this crime-plagued city, lining up for several blocks to register.
Volunteers who join street patrols as part of the "Call to Action: 10,000 Men, It's a New Day" campaign will not carry weapons or make arrests but will instead be trained in conflict resolution, organizers said.
"Nobody else is going to magically come into this community and get it done," said real estate developer Abdur-Rahim Islam, a lead organizer.
Mayor John F. Street, music producer Kenny Gamble and other black community activists joined Police Chief Sylvester Johnson at Temple University for the kickoff rally.
Acknowledging that police alone can't quell a run of violence, Johnson called for 10,000 volunteers last month to help make the streets safer. Philadelphia endures a reputation as one of America's deadliest cities, with about a slaying a day and many more non-fatal shootings.
The nation's sixth-largest city has nearly 1.5 million residents, 44% of them black. It has notched more than 320 homicides this year. More than 80% of the slayings involve handguns, and most involve young black males.
"These (volunteers) can prevent people from being arrested. They can go out there and do things for kids to prevent them from getting in trouble with the criminal justice system," Johnson said.
Non-blacks were also welcome, but organizers stressed the need for the black community to solve its own problems. Most of the victims of gun violence in the city are black.
This attempt at marching failed too.
The Christian Science Monitor reported that same year:
Nationally, the murder rate for African-Americans is more than three times the average: 19 black murder victims per 100,000 people versus five for the general population.

In Pennsylvania, the disparity for black homicide is even more pronounced: 30 per 100,000, or six times the national average, according to a study released last month by the Violence Policy Center (VPC), a gun-control research group in Washington.
Those numbers are "disproportionate, disturbing, and undeniable," says the VPC report, which analyzed crime data from 2004 in its study. Moreover, almost 80 percent of black murder victims in the US were shot and killed with guns, the study found.
Philadelphia follows the pattern. The vast majority of black murders in the city – 3 in 4 – are from gunfire, according to police.

Overall, murders have been on the rise – 406 last year. Of those, 317 were gun-related, compared with 233 four years ago. And it's the city's black residents and neighborhoods that feel the effects most acutely.
The so-called Black middle-class has fled Detroit and Birmingham, just as they flee Philadelphia. It doesn’t matter, as the Black Undertow will follow them as they settle in Whitopia’s. What they leave behind our empty skyscrapers, boarded up buildings, and unsafe streets, the former monuments to a long-gone people, the latter reasons for their departure.
Why Philadelphia’s Black population hasn’t demanded (like Pittsburgh Black population) that the news stop reporting Black crime is beyond us.
That the violent crime is monopolized by Black people in Philadelphia (and Detroit and Birmingham) is a sign of what any city that becomes majority Black can look forward to entertaining:
There are many Black men in and out of prison that, according to some experts, three generations of related men are sharing the same cell in some cases.

Recently a coalition of African-American men — professionals, community leaders, city officials, clergymen and others — announced the formation of a 10-year plan to address some of the problems facing Black men, especially those related to crime.
Bilal Qayyum, president of the Father’s Day Rally, said that The Agenda would focus on education, economic development and health and criminal justice issues.

“We have 2,400 Black murders between 2000 and 2009. Out of that number, 2,458 are Black males so you get a sense of the size of the problem,” he said. “We have a 48 percent high school drop out rate and 48 percent of Black males are jobless — that is they’re not just unemployed but they’re not even looking for work, not even being counted.”

Another aspect that creates a continuing crisis for Black males is the growing number of high school dropouts — as much as 48 percent don’t graduate.

“Let me give you a snap shot of where we are,” said Mayor Michael Nutter. “In 2010, in the six-year cohort, 54 percent of African-American males graduated from high school. Of the 2010 homicides, 86.9 percent were African-American males. African-American males were 65.5 percent of the admissions into the Philadelphia Prison System in 2010. These statistics demonstrate there is a real crisis among Black males.
If you don’t have an education, if you drop out, you’re already a step behind everyone else. If you drop out from high school your options are already limited and if you’re a Black male and turn to a life of crime, life is already against you.”

Bowen said that for Black males under the gun there is a deep sense of hopelessness and that for anyone in that condition sees life from the perspective of survival by any mean necessary.
Philadelphia, Birmingham, Detroit, and a whole host of other major cities are metropolitan areas that will experience massive riots over the summer of 2011. We’re convinced they start in Atlanta.
USA Today’s Wickham shows that some Black leaders realize Mein Obama has failed to provide a national jobs program for Black people, comparable to a New Deal-style organization. Wickham fails to admit that a disproportionate amount of tax revenue goes to support Black people already, but that’s alright, we’ll forgive for the faux pas.

But what the entire ruling Disingenuous White Liberal (DWL) class, who lord over Black-Run America, has failed to do is admit what "diversity" really means - thanks Mr. Lapchick for providing that service! - and why any law-abiding citizen of this nation should be excited that yet another major US city is now a no-go area.

The streets of Philadelphia aren't safe for one reason, and we have a feeling Rocky could never be made there today.

Where Have you Gone Thug Report? A Nation Turns its Lonely Eyes to You

Let's hope it comes back...
If is gone for good – hacked or taken down – let us remember the site for what it was: an aggregate of criminality from around this decaying nation, a forum where the flotsam and jettison of humanity - denied their rightfully place in newspapers due to an Associated Press (AP) editorial policy of not discussing the race of criminals - had their moment of notoriety.

Unlike a Whitewatch, a site dedicated to locating one strange story every few days from around the globe that delineated a mentally handicapped white person engaging in behavior that would be grounds for execution in a normal society, was updated hourly with tales of Black crime so macabre you’d think they were made up.

What's more, Thug Report wasn't a site dedicated to exposing Black crime: white, Hispanic, and Asian criminals were ventured, but they were overwhelmed by the propensity of criminals to have a Black face.

If the site was hacked, then know that the effort you put into was worth it; that showcasing the true face of crime (not the Law and Order brand) was an honorable hobby, valuable, and sorely needed.

Gannett-owned newspapers (think USA Today) and the Associated Press have a vested interest in suppressing pictures of criminals, because dark patterns would emerge – in any city – that showed primarily Black faces.

These organizations are complicit in a conspiracy of plausible deniability; they report the crime, but they fail to mention important information of the suspect (such as race) and each death – be it Black, Hispanic, white or Asian – is on their hands.

It gets depressing seeing stories of Black crime under-reported, and ultimately forgotten, only to see stories of purported white misbehavior become fodder for the 24-hours news cycle, text books, and Disingenuous White Liberal (DWL) newspaper columns.

If the site wasn’t hacked, we imagine that’s valiant owner found the endless parade of Black criminality he encountered on a daily basis to be a depressing reminder that no one event – however galling and shocking – will have the capacity to convince the general public of the horrors of the Black Undertow.

We tire of seeing the procession of Black criminality as well. But denying it’s not there while drowning oneself in shots of American Idol and Dancing with the Star followed by a chaser of Real Housewives of Detroit (mind you, that would be an awesome idea for a show) is what most Americans do.

Though it’s ugly (this story of three Blacks beaten up a delivery guy, or this story of a Black guy punching an autistic person for no reason, violence at African American Family Day at The National Zoo or this street execution), it’s necessary, vital even to never stop.

So let’s hope makes a comeback, as a nation turns its lonely eyes to you for the true face of crime that many local news stations and dying newspapers conspire to conceal from the public.

We’re reminded of the scene in 2010’s underrated Robin Hood film. Before the movie started, this appeared on the screen:
"In times of tyranny and injustice, when law oppresses the people, the outlaw takes his place in history.”
That is what Thugreport represented, an outlaw Web site. Every Web site that espouses views anathema to the ruling ideology of Black Run America (BRA) falls into that category. This is a time of tyranny and injustice, and the law does oppress the people.

And we aren’t talking about “the Blacks.”

SWPL whites vs. SBPDL whites?

An image from Portlandia, a show that mocks SWPL white people
One of the cool aspects of running a Web site is seeing terms that originated here picked up by other people. Check out the new blog Those Who Can See, inspired by the concept we coined from the movie They Live.  Also, Hunter Wallace over at Occidental Dissent has picked up on the term Black-Run America (BRA) and elaborated upon it to an extent that borders on the obsessive (we mean that in a good way).

This Web site was started as a joke, but we're inspired by readers who send in personal stories and have been inspired in return to work harder at showcasing the world that Pittsburgh television news directors are conspiring to censure.

One aspect of this site that will be elaborated upon soon is the Stuff White People Like (SWPL) white vs. Untouchable whites debate.

A self-identified SWPL white reader, Riley, wrote this in the comment section:
I find it very funny that whites on this site think all whites are on the same team. News Flash: The whites that really matter (High IQ whites, Elite Whites, and SWPL) either ignore don’t care and openly detest SBPDL type of whites. How many elite white want you guys living in their cities, not many. Many of you are like whiny little kids who a just mad because you angry that elite whites either care for NAMS more than you or Elite whites are not helping you out as they should. This proves that many of you are low quality and low IQ whites because the whites that matter (Don’t’ live near NAMS and for the most part NAMS are invisible to them. Perfect examples are NYC, LA and DC. This environment is majority NAMS but on the average day Elite whites rarely encounter NAms in a meaningful way. There are plenty of places in this country where SBPDL's whites can move to and never encounter any NAMs. So what's the problem? If you don’t move to the cities, you will not have to encounter any NAMS and it’s as simple as that. It’s sadistic for SBPDL’ type of whites wanting to move to cities that are controlled culturally and politically by SWPL when you detest these types of whites.

Has he (or she) coined a new term, "SBPDL whites?" Do SBPDL white despise SWPL whites? So much can be gleaned from this comment and we'll comment on it fully later. What do you, dear readers, think of this comment.

Knowing that the ultimate SWPL white cities (Austin, Texas; Portland, Seattle, San Francisco, and Boulder) are overwhelmingly white and have few Black people, one is left to wonder if SWPL whites are attempting to insulate themselves from the Black Undertow that is overwhelming many other U.S. major cities (tomorrow, we will have a long post on the Philadelphia Experiment: The Real Streets of Philly).

SWPL whites vs. SPBDL whites... interesting debate. What do you think?

One more thought: we appreciate all comments, but we do not approve more than 70 percent of them. Please refrain from using racial epithets.

Also, the first video below is what we believe beautifully encapsulates the SWPL white person mentality. It's a music video from the band She & Him. If you prefer this song (instead of the one below it), you're probably a SWPL white person.

If you prefer the one below it, you're probably a SBPDL white person.

It should be stated that the person behind Stuff Black People Don't Like lives in one of the top 10 SWPL cities.

Walk a Mile in My Shoes..: A Quick Thought on "Black Like Me"

The book was quickly made into a poorly received movie
We've never read it anywhere else, probably because the book is considered a holy sacrament by Disingenuous White Liberals (DWL) and a mild form of acceptable torture pornography by Crusading White Pedagogues (CWP), but Stuff Black People Don't Like has a theory that much of the book Black Like Me is fictional.

Black Like Me, passed off as non-fiction, is a book by John Howard Griffin (white guy) that chronicles his experiences in the Deep South in 1959 after he had his skin darkened via a combination of both drugs and artificial sunlight.

Passing on reading it in AP English, we just picked it up to read now. It reads like a DWL and CWP wet dream, a book that can condition young, impressionable white students to accept the totality of Black Run America (BRA) now.

A movie was produced off of the script non-fiction book Griffin wrote, which can be viewed on YouTube.

Our perspective of the United States of America at SBPDL comes from a world more than two score removed from the passage of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. Born more than a score after this date, we have seen a world erected where any and all criticism of Black people is forbidden. Reading Black Like Me, one enters a world that seems as distant and unrecognizable as something out of pages of Upton Sinclair's prose.

Never understanding white guilt and realizing that a book entitled White Like Me - documenting a white person's darkening of their skin (think Soul Man) and entering the world of academia and then the corporate sector to show how capable Black people  are treated now- would never fly, it is virtually impossible to try and walk in a mile in a Black persons shoes.

Time magazine wrote this of the book back in 1960:
"The Hate Stare." Accepted without question as a Negro by both races, Griffin drifted through four states—Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, and Georgia—well-dressed, comparatively well-heeled ($200 in traveler's checks), obviously well-educated, under his own name and ready to reveal the truth to anyone who asked. No one asked. His skin was black, and that was enough.

Throughout the South, Griffin encountered what he calls "the hate stare." Offering his seat to a white woman in a New Orleans streetcar, he watched her face stiffen into hostility. "What are you looking at me like that for?" she asked sharply, and turned away muttering, "They're getting sassier every day."

The Dark Night. Griffin began his masquerade with the feeling that as a Southern white, he lacked compassion for the Negro, as well as a true understanding of the Negro's lot. His four-week journey strengthened both of these impressions. "I had no idea what they have to go through," he said. "I literally bawled myself to sleep some nights. I learned that when it is night, when it is dark, then the Negro feels safest. Langston Hughes's line, 'Night coming tenderly/ Black like me,'* has real meaning."

After four weeks as a Negro, Griffin harbors new doubts about his own race. "I like to see good in the white man," he said last week. "But after this experience, it's hard to find it in the Southern white."
A "Hate Stare?" Any time a white person travels into a predominately Black major city to attend a sporting or cultural event, "Hate Stares" from Black people are sure to follow. Think of areas you assiduously avoid where restaurants and gas stations might offer a more convenient opportunity for fuel for both you and your vehicle.

You avoid them because of the "Hate Stares" you will get from a new generation of Black people, a growing underclass of people reliant on the state to subsist in Section 8 Housing, and survive on EBT cards, free cell phone service and welfare.

One of these weekends, we at SBPDL would love to venture into Detroit, Atlanta, Philadelphia, Baltimore, Birmingham or another city with majority Black-areas that are crime-ridden to showcase what a true "Hate Stare" is in 2011.

YouTube and provide the invaluable service of showcasing 365Black behavior if you want to see it from the confines of your own home. At some point soon, some enterprising soul is going to have to venture into the world Daniel Tosh mocks routinely and update for a 21st century audience John Howard Griffin's "Hate Stares."

Unlike Black Like Me, a work of purported non-fiction that can never be verified as authentic, videos documenting 365Black are real.

One last thought: the United States Department of Education has invested heavily in indoctrinating students to go against what nature intended, spending vast sums of time highlighting past racism by white people against Black people as part of the core curriculum. A dedication to the tenets of BRA has seemingly augmented the so-called three "R's" of education (readin', writin' and 'rithmetic) with a fourth "R," that of 'white racism.'

Try giving a Black person a "Hate Stare" now and see what happens. All white people can do is meekly lock their car door when they approach and turn their head away in shame, hoping that their car isn't broken into (hilariously spoofed in the Stuff White People Like comedy Harold and Kumar 2).

"Hate Stares" are solely looks that Black people give now-a-days, for a non-white performing such an action toward a Black person is grounds for unspeakable forms of retaliation.

Black Like Me is a work of fiction, a beloved book pushed as non-fiction by DWLs and CWPs in an all-out effort to inculcate students of the past wickedness of long dead nation. Try being a white person (or even a Black person) living among the Black Undertow now; your car and property constantly under threat of being stolen or violated in a nation that cares little for reporting the obvious truth of the Black criminality.

Maybe walking a mile in another person's shoes was necessary in a world without Flip cams and cell phones with video recording technology. But in our world today, Black people find no shame in documenting 365Black behavior for everyone else to see and enjoy, even uploading it to for their 15 minutes of fame.

Knowing how Black people treat Black students just for earning honor roll status (thereby Acting White), one might be smart to avoid any attempt at replicating the purported adventures of Griffin.

McDonald's 365Black Transvestite Attack in Baltimore Not the Original Transvestite Moment at McDonald's

Boycott 365Black at McDonald's
In all the fun over this past week's racial transgendered beat down of a white girl dude by a group of enraged Black women at McDonald's, we failed to mention a past moment of hilarity that included two of three elements already cited.

The racial transgendered (Disingenuous White Liberals in the news have changed the narrative to fit the agenda of a small minority, instead of a continually dispossessed shrinking majority) beat down in Baltimore was not the first occurrence of convergence where the strange combination of Black people, McDonald's and Transvestites resulted in disaster.

From the annals of Stuff Black People Don't Like, we present Memphis Transvestites. Back in 2007, three Black transvestites found that a closing McDonald's ran counter to their plan of devouring pre-365Black food:
Things got a little out of order after three hungry transvestites found their service at a Memphis McDonald's drive-thru unsatisfactory. The three, er, men, tried to get the manager's attention by tapping on the drive-thru window, and when they were ignored, decided to grab a tire iron and go inside and throw a supersize tantrum.

That's when things got ugly.

As any good cross-dressers would, the three began to kick off stiletto boots (to better keep their balance while swinging), remove hoop earrings (no danger of having them yanked out), and take off their jackets (less restriction of movement) in order to deliver a McWhoopin' on the staff.

The manager retaliated with a pot of scalding French-fry grease. When all was said and done, one worker was sent to the hospital by ambulance, windows were smashed, and the three trannies escaped before the police arrived.
You always hear or read of people saying, "It's 2011." Thereby, all types of behavior - once deemed deviant and unhealthy - are now tolerated. How could anyone be stuck in 1950s, 60s, 70s, 80s, or even 1990s thinking (this hilarious scene from Ace Ventura could never be filmed today, because it would infuriate a small sector of society and inevitably lead to a boycott of the film)?

{I was reading the comments section, and want to address one point quickly: This is Stuff Black People Don't Like. That's it. Search the archives. We do not discuss religion, sexual orientation or abortion. I'm sure there are people who visit this site that hold views anathema to other visitors. I know there are Christians, Jews, and Hindus who post here. There are Homosexuals and people who are radically opposed to Homosexuals. This website is SBPDL. Nothing more; nothing less.}

Because of the progression of time, attitudes should change. High rates of Black crime and the high levels of Black dysfunctional were never discussions tolerated, sadly, in any time period.

Instead of protesting McDonald's for the racial transgendered beat down of a white female male by a bunch of Black women thinking they were watching Denzel Washington kiss Julia Roberts (yet another Black dude going for a white chick and spurning Black women), this story has become grounds for rallying around transgendered rights:
Advocates for transgender rights are planning a rally outside a McDonald's in Maryland where an attack against a transgender woman that was caught on video took place.
The rally condemning the attack is set for 7 p.m. Monday outside the restaurant in Baltimore County.

The video posted online shows a woman being beaten and then apparently having a seizure. Baltimore County police say a 14-year-old girl has been charged as a juvenile and an 18-year-old woman, Teonna Monae Brown, faces assault charges in the case.

The victim, 22-year-old Chrissy Lee Polis, says she's the victim of a hate crime. Polis says before she was attacked, one teen said Polis was a man using the women's restroom and accused Polis of talking to her man.
Despite the plethora of documented moments - that show why all races move away from the Black Undertow - transpiring at Denny's, IHOP, Burger King and especially at 365Black McDonald's, the only people daring to protest the horrific attack of a white female male by a bunch of Black women could have been extras in To Wong Foo, Thanks for Everything, Julie Newmar.

They have the right idea. Though Black transvestites in Memphis destroyed a McDonald's back in 2007 and had hot fry grease thrown at them in a failed bid to ward them off, the initial boycotting of the Baltimore McDonald's is a huge moment to reflect upon.

Stop eating at McDonald's. The entire marketing campaign has long been predicated upon enticing Black patrons to spend their money under the Golden Arches. You'll feel healthier a week after you stop eating food from a restaurant that values diversity above all other worldly pursuits.

What happened in Baltimore between a bunch of Black girls and a white female male was entirely uncalled for, but with the development that the she is a he takes on a whole new dimension. The DWL-led rainbow coalition is breaking apart.
Not only the McDonald's in Baltimore, but all McDonald's should be avoided and boycotted. The 365Black marketing strategy is emblematic of the type of clientele the restaurant is aiming for, and, thanks to the advent of technology that made Rodney King a star, we all have a chance to see this behavior on YouTube, and other online venues.

This Web site is Stuff Black People Don't Like. That's all we'll talk about.  Join us in boycotting McDonald's and its 365Black campaign, not because of one attack on a she he by truculent Black women, but because of a long chain of abuses perpetrated by truculent Black people that finally culminated in the beating of this white dude, who looks like a lady.

Boycott McDonald's and boycott 365Black. Many thanks to those who sent in graphic designs for our boycott. If others wish to join in the fun, E-mail them to

Thanks are due to the writer of the Web site for Unamusementpark for the graphic asking WTF is 365Black? Check out their site. When you think about it, a more fitting marketing strategy for a restaurant couldn't be created by the fine people at The Onion.

365Black wonderfully captures McDonald's.

A Week in Review at SBPDL

This has been a busy week at Stuff Black People Don't Like. Yesterday was a record for both hits, page views, unique visitors and traffic,  with a number of reputable sites sending visitors here. Thank you.

So what did we learn this week?

Newsweek told us that unemployed, college-educated white males between the ages of 44 - 60 years-old are beached.

Jason Richwine of Heritage showed us that per pupil spending is greater for Black students then white students, thereby erasing claims by the NAACP that Black students don't receive enough funding in their pursuit of an education that leads many to find solace in the overfunded penal system. went berserk that New York Times columnist Russ Douthat has pointed out the obvious; that an aging white population will rely on an increasingly non-white population that will be taxed in a bid to pay for their Social Security and benefits:
"Historically, the most successful welfare states (think Scandinavia) have depended on ethnic solidarity to sustain their tax-and-transfer programs. But the working-age America of the future will be far more diverse than the retired cohort it's laboring to support. Asking a population that's increasingly brown and beige to accept punishing tax rates while white seniors receive roughly $3 in Medicare benefits for every dollar they paid in (the projected ratio in the 2030s) [pdf] promises to polarize the country along racial as well as generational lines."
The fact that the Browning of America isn't a good thing when one considers credit history, home foreclosure rates and employment prospects for this young population is something the kind folks at never consider. They must have degrees from an HBCU, which the New York Times pointed out were basically worthless.

Al Sharpton, at his National Action Network (NAN) conference - which receives major corporate sponsorship and a visit from Mein Obama himself - stated that construction sites that don't employ Black people should be shut down and that only Black people should educate Black children. He might have said something about Black people only buying from Black businesses - what is called "buying black" -  but this is a risky proposition that has been tried before and failed.

Remember, And Then? is what you'll always get.

We also learned McDonald's and MARTA are, well, both 365Black.

Trust us, we want to write # posts. We want to talk about popular culture and sports, simple things that normal people talk about at bars and on patios of restaurants as they enjoy the outdoors, fine cuisine and fellowship of friends.

For the time being, we can't. In less than two years time, this blog - which started as a joke - has morphed into something else. Understanding the Blue Ocean Strategy, we have created a brand and, in so doing, have produced one book and have another one on the verge of publication (two more books are planned for release this summer).

We encourage new readers to this Web site to explore the archives and educate yourself. The Mainstream Media (MSM) has been doing the thinking for you for far too long; the only freedom you have in Black Run America (BRA) is the freedom to think for yourself.

Unplug from Fox News, MSNBC, CNN, ESPN, Time and Newsweek. Put down that National Review and The Nation. The paradigm of white people being solely capable of racism or prejudice in BRA is dying quickly.

All you have to do is watch YouTube, or spend a few minutes on this Web site to understand what Truth, Justice, and the American way means.

Thank you, readers, for making this week at Stuff Black People Don't Like the most trafficked one on record. My thanks to Mencken for his continued efforts to help edit and make sure SBPDL is producing top-notch work and my thanks to readers who send in stories that can only make sense in a world governed by BRA. Thanks to those who posts links to our site on other Web pages. Don't stop! Traffic is increasing because people come here and post links on Facebook, Twitter and other news pages.

Also, more than 10 people sent in graphic designs for our "Boycott 365Black" campaign.

We are not Libertarians here; McDonald's is poison. In a sane world, such food wouldn't be fed to dogs.

Regardless of your religious views, have a blessed Easter. Spend time with your family; call an old friend, and just enjoy life.

We'll be back Monday.

YouTube won't allow us to embed this video, but we think it convey's something special.

Happy Easter.
