White Pittsburgh Award-Winning Journalist Fired for Noticing Blacks Responsible for almost Homicide/Gun Crime in the City

In the past few years, two white Virginia journalists were gunned down by a black guy live on air; the black killers manifesto has been tossed into a vault and the key melted down.

A few years ago, more than one hundred black people assaulted two white journalists from the Virginian Pilot, in a story the newspaper attempted to censor.

And today... [Wendy Bell, fired over her controversial Facebook posts, says she didn’t get a 'fair shake', Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, 3-30-16]:

Wendy Bell, an award-winning journalist with WTAE-TV for 18 years, was fired Wednesday for comments she made on her Facebook page.
A statement from Hearst Television, the station’s parent company, said, “WTAE has ended its relationship with anchor Wendy Bell. Wendy’s recent comments on a WTAE Facebook page were inconsistent with the company’s ethics and journalistic standards.”
WTAE-TV president and general manager Charles Wolfertz III confirmed the news and declined to comment. A spokesman for Hearst Television also declined to comment further. News of her firing drew hundreds of online posts within the first half-hour, with some people saying they would be switching to another station.
Ms. Bell did not return phone calls for comment from the Post-Gazette, but she told the Associated Press that she didn’t get a “fair shake” from the station, and that the story was not about her, but about “African-Americans being killed by other African-Americans.”
“It makes me sick,” she told The Associated Press when reached at her home on Wednesday. “What matters is what’s going on in America, and it is the death of black people in this country. ... I live next to three war-torn communities in the city of Pittsburgh, that I love dearly. My stories, they struck a nerve. They touched people, but it’s not enough. More needs to be done. The problem needs to be addressed.”
Ms. Bell joined WTAE in 1998 and has won 21 regional Emmy Awards.Ms. Bell had been off the air since Mr. Wolfertz aired a public apology from the station last week, citing Ms. Bell’s “egregious lack of judgment” in posting racial stereotypes on her official Facebook page.
After a mass shooting March 9 in Wilkinsburg in which police still have made no arrests, Ms. Bell wrote, in part, “You needn’t be a criminal profiler to draw a mental sketch of the killers who broke so many hearts two weeks ago Wednesday... they are young black men, likely in their teens or early 20s.
“They have multiple siblings from multiple fathers and their mothers work multiple jobs.”
She then wrote about a young African-American man, this one a worker she saw in a SouthSide Works restaurant. She said she called over the manager and praised the man, adding, “I wonder how long it had been since someone told him he was special.”
Since originally posting on Facebook, Ms. Bell edited the statement and eventually removed it. It created an online stir, with parodies on sites such as verysmartbrothas.com and thousands of comments for and against the longtime newswoman on sites such as reddit.
Many of the readers posting comments on a Post-Gazette.com story about the firing Wednesday said they would be switching stations to express their outrage over WTAE’s actions.
Ms. Bell later apologized for her Facebook post. In part, the apology read, “I now understand that some of the words I chose were insensitive and could be viewed as racist. I regret offending anyone. I’m truly sorry.”
As of Wednesday afternoon, that Facebook page had been taken down. Her profile on the WTAE-TV website also had been removed.
Asked to weigh in on the firing, a journalism ethics expert said freedom of speech is a tricky thing when practiced by those who must adhere to the facts.
America is irredeemable.

There's nothing more to say.

Oh, It's Going to be a LONG Summer...

Chicago.

Memphis.

Baltimore.

America's Sweden, Minneapolis.

One of these cities has the potential to explode in the summer of 2016.

But if I had to pinpoint one city where the black population boasted a surplus of black individuals capable of just one bad encounter with a white police officer away from chaos, I'd go all in on Indianapolis. [Volunteer clergy help supervise teens at Circle Centre, WTHR.com, 3-29-16]:

City and community leaders are prepping for another weekend downtown packed with hundred of teens who hang out at the mall.
The Circle Center Mall downtown is a prime destination for young people. The biggest crowds happen on Saturday nights. Mall security and IMPD's downtown district get chaperone help from volunteer clergy who walk the mall to help manage the teens.
The youngsters are welcome, but bad behavior is not.
"We support teens being teens and we want teens to have fun, but we want it to be safe fun," said Deputy Mayor Dr. David Hampton.
"We want to make sure that our teens are well represented and that the adults have had that conversation before they leave house."
Hampton said those conversations about their mall visit will help make sure your kids return home safely.
Circle Center Mall is the racial equivalent of Mount St. Helens.

All across America, the final summer of Obama is about to unleash blacks in a manner only the glory of social media could properly document.

He even said "Please" Stop the Violence: Black Kid Featured in Chicago Anti-Violence PSA Shot

He starred in a public service announcement in 2015, asking black people to stop killing/shooting one another in Chicago.

He even said "please."

Now he's nothing more than another reminder that black people and guns don't mix. [He Was In Anti-Violence PSA In Chicago — Then He Got Shot, NPR, 3-29-16]:

Friday night in Chicago, a 13-year-old boy named Zarriel Trotter — who last year appeared in an anti-violence PSA — was hit by a stray bullet. NPR's Kelly McEvers talks with his principal, Elizabeth Jamison-Dunn.
KELLY MCEVERS, HOST:
Here in the U.S., people are trying different ways to deal with violence in their communities, like this public service announcement from last year about gun violence in Chicago.
(SOUNDBITE OF ARCHIVED RECORDING)
UNIDENTIFIED BOY: It made me feel a little scared 'cause I don't know - if I'm going to be one of those people who get killed.
MCEVERS: The PSA features boys from a school in Chicago, and it cites a CDC statistic that says the leading cause of death for African-American boys and teenagers is homicide.
(SOUNDBITE OF ARCHIVED RECORDING)
ZARRIEL TROTTER: I don't want to live around my community where I got to keep on hearing and hearing people keep on getting shot, people keep on getting killed.
MCEVERS: That was Zarriel Trotter. He was 12 years old when the ad was filmed last year. Then, this past Friday night in Chicago, a few blocks away from home, Zarriel was hit in the lower back by a stray bullet. He's still in the hospital.
Elizabeth Jamison-Dunn is the principal at Trotter's school, Catalyst Circle Rock Charter School. That's also where the PSA was filmed. And she is with us now. Welcome to the show.
ELIZABETH JAMISON-DUNN: Thank you.
MCEVERS: First of all, can you tell us how you found out that Zarriel Trotter had been shot?
JAMISON-DUNN: I actually found out from some of my colleagues. They told me that it was rumored that it was Zarriel, and it was confirmed for me through an email that I received from Chicago Public Schools.
MCEVERS: And what - it happened really close to the school. Is that correct?
JAMISON-DUNN: Yes, it was less than half a mile away from our school.
MCEVERS: And what was your reaction?
JAMISON-DUNN: My first thoughts was just - is, how is he doing? Is he OK? What does the family need? How can we be of assistance?
MCEVERS: And how is he doing now?
JAMISON-DUNN: He's showing improvement, and mom seems to feel very hopeful. We're just continuing to pray for him and keep him in our thoughts. And we hope to go see him this week.
MCEVERS: Tell us about Zarriel. What kind of student is he?
JAMISON-DUNN: He is definitely a fun-loving student. Even speaking with some of his classmates this morning, one of them said, oh, it's going to be boring in class now. He always makes us laugh. He's always the life of the party.
MCEVERS: (Laughter).
JAMISON-DUNN: And you know, he's just, like - he doesn't cause any issues for us (unintelligible). So he's always trying to do the right thing And he's one of our kids. He's been with us since kindergarten, and so we've literally watched him grow up.
MCEVERS: I mean, I'm sure that the irony of what's happened has not been lost on you and other people at the school - that somebody who...
JAMISON-DUNN: It has hit.
MCEVERS: ...Himself had stepped forward was hit by a bullet.
JAMISON-DUNN: But it's also for our students. Because the PSA is getting national attention, it's showing them the power of their voice and their words. Zarriel's voice and their voice is being heard across the nation - that they are not OK with things that they see. And they do have opinions, and they do have a voice. And they do want more and better for themselves.
MCEVERS: But this violence is something that's in the community. How can people at school and in the wider community start to talk about addressing the violence?
JAMISON-DUNN: I think that, A, acknowledging that it is a part of what we go through every day but, more importantly, acknowledging that it's not just what we are. Like, it's not the only thing that happens in the community. And I feel too often the narrative that's written about Chicago or the West Side or black and brown children is one that's steeped within violence.
MCEVERS: Right.
JAMISON-DUNN: And that's not all that we are. And so we constantly reaffirm our students on their greatness and understand that you can't be defined by this. So we need to figure out ways to overcome this and to let the other positive aspects of who we are shine brightly.
MCEVERS: That's Elizabeth Jamison-Dunn. She's principal at Catalyst Circle Rock Charter School in Austin. That's a neighborhood in Chicago. Thank you very much.
JAMISON-DUNN: You're welcome.
All things considered... If you woke up one morning to find out the United States of America's top 10 largest cities were gone, would you lose a nights sleep?

In almost all of these cities, Chicago included, the people who birthed the civilization there (white people) have long ago been supplanted as the majority race, demographically displaced by either Africans in America or some mixture of 3rd world population.

What you have left is a population capable of only giving birth to ruin, decay, and misery, with an occasional PSA-announcement released ending with the irony of one of the participants being gunned down in a manner in which he had previously protested against.

He even said "please."

America's First Black Female Attorney General Declares War on Punishing Colored People

Just as Alexander once simply cut the Gordian Knot with his sword, we will one day realize how simply our problems can be fixed.

If we have the will to do it.

Until then, we'll get more of this.[AG Loretta Lynch wants to let nation break law without consequences, NY Post, 3-27-16]:
As New York moves to decriminalize low-level offenses, arguing enforcement is “rigged against communities of color,” other large cities are coming under pressure from the Justice Department to do the same thing.
Attorney General Loretta Lynch has issued a warning to municipal and state judges across the country that their courts could lose federal funding if they don’t ease up on fines and arrest warrants for minor crimes involving poor offenders, indigent minorities in particular.
In lieu of fines and jail time, Lynch urges the nation’s 6,500 municipal courts to provide an avenue for offenders to perform “community service” or take advantage of “amnesty days,” whereby outstanding arrest warrants are cleared for nominal fees.
Failure to comply with these policies could trigger a Ferguson-style discrimination investigation. Already, Lynch says she’s “evaluating discrimination complaints against several court systems.”
A strongly worded “guidance” letter, written by her civil rights team, warns that a local court policy of enforcing warrants for failure to pay court fines and fees can have an adverse “disparate impact” on African-Americans, who are fined and/or arrested for outstanding warrants at “disproportionate” rates versus whites.
Federal data also show that blacks tend to break both felony and misdemeanor laws at a disproportionate rate. Even if applied evenly across all races and in neutral, color-blind fashion, such policies could be found by Justice to be discriminatory.
“In court systems receiving federal funds, these practices may also violate Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, when they unnecessarily impose disparate harm on the basis of race,” the nine-page letters states.
This is the same dubious legal threat the administration is using to force the nation’s public schools to back off suspending unruly — even violent — black students, and to force cops to avoid stopping, frisking and arresting minority offenders.
The Supreme Court has ruled that disparate impact doesn’t violate Title VI, only “intentional” discrimination does. “The administration is quite wrong to say that Title VI incorporates a ‘disparate impact’ standard,” Roger Clegg of the Center for Equal Opportunity points out. “The Supreme Court has ruled repeatedly that it does not.”
This new court “reform” will only exacerbate the crime problem. Studies show ignoring low-level crimes like warrant violations only leads to bigger crimes.
Under Mayor Bill de Blasio, the NYPD has scaled back its aggressive enforcement of low-level offenses only to see both minor and serious crime rebound. Already cops have backed off public urination and other public nuisance violations, while overlooking outstanding warrants for many other misdemeanor crimes.
Even a senior Justice Department official predicts the decriminalization-cum-deincarceration movement will backfire in higher crime nationwide. “In five years the crime rate is going to be crazy again,” he said.
The official, who oversees probation of felons paroled from federal prisons and who requested anonymity, worries the new department policy will be abused.
“I don’t see liberal judges even attempting to make people pay or spending the time making an accurate determination of a person being ‘indigent,’ ” he said.
“It’s another way of not holding people accountable for their actions.”
Personal responsibility?

Impossible in a nation where the highest form of morality is derived from the color of ones skin color.

The Future of American Policing: Paying Black People Not to Kill

PK Note: Happy Easter! I hope you got to spend it with your family or friends. More importantly, I hope you were at the very least able to recall a special Easter from the past, rekindling dormant memories of happiness.

Though much of the population of United States of America isn't, the nation is irredeemable. [Cities begin to challenge a bedrock of justice: They’re paying criminals not to kill, Washington Post, March 26, 2016]:
The odds were good that Lonnie Holmes, 21, would be the next person to kill or be killed in this working-class suburb north of San Francisco.
Four of his cousins had died in shootings. He was a passenger in a car involved in a drive-by shooting, police said. And he was arrested for carrying a loaded gun.
But when Holmes was released from prison last year, officials in this city offered something unusual to try to keep him alive: money. They began paying Holmes as much as $1,000 a month not to commit another gun crime.
Cities across the country, beginning with the District of Columbia, are moving to copy Richmond’s controversial approach because early indications show it has helped reduce homicide rates.
But the program requires governments to reject some basic tenets of law enforcement even as it challenges notions of appropriate ways to spend tax dollars. In Richmond, the city has hired ex-convicts to mentor dozens of its most violent offenders and allows them to take unconventional steps if it means preventing the next homicide.
For example, the mentors have coaxed inebriated teenagers threatening violence into city cars, not for a ride to jail but home to sleep it off — sometimes with loaded firearms still in their waistbands. The mentors have funded trips to South Africa, London and Mexico City for rival gang members in the hope that shared experiences and time away from the city streets would ease tensions and forge new connections.
And when the elaborate efforts at engagement fail, the mentors still pay those who pledge to improve, even when, like Holmes, they are caught with a gun, or worse — suspected of murder.
The city-paid mentors operate at a distance from police. To maintain the trust of the young men they’re guiding, mentors do not inform police of what they know about crimes committed. At least twice, that may have allowed suspected killers in the stipend program to evade responsibility for homicides.
And yet, interest in the program is surging among urban politicians. Officials in Miami, Toledo, Baltimore and more than a dozen cities in between are studying how to replicate Richmond’s program.
The District of Columbia is first in line.
Read the whole article at the Washington Post, as I couldn't stomach posting much more.

America is irredeemable.

American Exemptionalism! Proof We're Still a Shining City on a Hill!

The following is an illustration for why Planned Parenthood should be on every block in majority black communities in what's left of the United States of America. [9 people charged with murder in fatal Georgia teen brawl, WSBTV, 3-24-16]:
Nine people have been arrested on murder charges and one more person is wanted in connection with a fight that left a teen dead, the Richmond County sheriff said.
According to the Augusta Chronicle, Demajhay Bell, 18, was stabbed Friday afternoon during a massive fight in a neighborhood south of Augusta.
It all started when dozens of people came to the 2200 block of the Chaps Lane in Hephzibah to see two girls fight.
Richmond County Sheriff Richard Roundtree told the Chronicle the fight began as an argument between two girls at school, but continued to escalate over time as more people got involved, choosing sides, and eventually meeting on Chaps Lane.
Eyvette Byrd, 39, told police a crowd of 30 to 50 people came to her home wielding baseball bats, knives, pipes and other weapons to fight her 15-year-old daughter, according to the newspaper.
“This is the epitome of a senseless murder,” Roundtree said.
Investigators believe Bell was an inactive participant when he was stabbed in the neck. Roundtree said Bell was inside a house for much of the fight, but was stabbed by Demetrius Harris Jr., 21, Eyvette Byrd’s son, when he went outside, according to the paper.
Byrd, who is also being charged in the case, attempted to drive the injured teen to the hospital, but another altercation broke out, causing her to stop and get out of the car.
Bell then moved into the driver’s seat and attempted to drive himself to the hospital, but pulled over when he saw an officer nearby. He stumbled out of his vehicle and got into the marshal’s car.
Bell was taken to the hospital, where he later died of his injury.
Police arrested Quiauna Henley, 35, of Hephzibah; Quiasha Henley, 18, of Hephzibah; A’Lexis Cain, 18, of Hephzibah; Tyteanna Thomas, 18, of Augusta; Raheem Jobes, 19, of Augusta; Myah Dunbar, 18, of Hephzibah; Eyvette Lashawn Byrd, 39, of Hephzibah; Demetrius Lamont Harris Jr, 21, of Hephzibah; and Terry Lee Daniels, 19, of Augusta. They are each charged with aggravated assault and murder.
Warrants have been issued for Eddie Doneal Carter III, 18, of Augusta.
Though a large portion of the population is not (courtesy of the rise of Donald Trump), the United States of America is irredeemable. Were our nation healthy, none of the participants in the violence in Richmond County would ever have been born.

Only in the Comic Books, TV Shows or Movies, Do Heroes/Vigilantes Fight White Criminals...

Twenty prior arrests?

At what point will we, as a society, learn we have to stop advocating a policy where we believe some lives are worth trying to turn around?
When the state refuses to sanction action against criminals...[Man says he slashed woman because she’s white, New York Post, March 22, 2016]:
A man who was arrested for randomly slashing a woman’s neck earlier this month in Brooklyn told police he attacked her because she is white, police sources said.
Gregory Alfred, 25, told police he set out to find white people to slice back on Mar. 10 because he blamed them and “the system” for preventing him from freely smoking weed, sources said.
The slasher chose to take out his anger on 53-year-old Janina Popko, and cut her across the neck as she was walking near the corner of Beverly and Rugby roads that morning in Ditmas Park, sources said.
“He’s just a sick person,” Popko told The Post on Tuesday. “I’m very lucky to be okay. I am still shaky.”
“I never was racial. I grew up in Poland , they never teach us to be racial,” she added. “I didn’t grow up with this racial thing.”
Alfred discarded a large kitchen knife, black plastic bag and an American flag bandanna after the attack. Cops were able to lift fingerprints from the items, the sources said.
“He had bought paring knives and kitchen knives and said he was going to stab people,” NYPD Chief of Detectives Robert Boyce said at a Tuesday press conference at police headquarters.
“Clearly he is a disturbed man and should never have been out in the street.”
Alfred was taken into custody at his mother’s home in Sayreville, NJ over the weekend, after his mother turned him in after she saw a news report about the slashing.
Alfred, who has more than 20 arrests, is expected to be brought back to New York where he will be charged for the Brooklyn slashing.
Poland is a racially homogeneous country, an actual nation. America?

America is irredeemable, a nightmarish landmass where strip malls are abandoned every time racial realities we're taught are but an aberration of an abhorrent mind become all too tangible.

"Just remember this, my girl, when you look up in the sky... You can see the stars and still not see the light"

Aryan assholes.

They've allowed Scandinavia to be ruined and they working hard to allow formerly all-white, high-trust, overflowing in social capital states in America to be ruined as well.

Looking right at you Minnesota, where another St. Patrick's Day in Minneapolis was ruined by mobs of black people[Tevlin: Victim of violence on St. Pat's Day was with official downtown Mpls. booster, Minneapolis Star Tribune, 3-23-16]:
For the past eight to 10 years, his family has marched in the St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Minneapolis, a city he loves and also promotes as one of the board members of the Minneapolis Downtown Council. This year, the holiday was spent with a large group of relatives ranging in age from 8 to 88.
“It was a fantastic event,” said the board member.
Until it wasn’t.
The family had just rolled up its banner when a group of teenagers swerved to pass on Marquette Avenue. The board member’s brother-in-law was a few steps ahead, walking with his young son. As one of the teens passed, he viciously punched the brother-in-law in the face, knocking him into a wall.
“There was a melee going on,” said the board member, who spoke on the condition that his family’s name be withheld. They are all, including children, witnesses to the attack and afraid of retaliation. “We found ourselves surrounded by kids. It was such a blur, I couldn’t tell if there were 25 or 75 kids.”
The man’s teenage son broke through the crowd and found police officers, who rushed to the scene. By then, even more kids had been drawn by the chaos, and police had to surround the family with their bicycles. Officers eventually brought the family members inside a building and blocked the doors with their bikes.
“I’ve never seen anything like it,” said the board member, a downtown business owner who told his story to the rest of the organization Monday. “It was just so heinous.”
Despite police presence, dozens of kids hovered nearby. The attacker ran off and got away. Police had to surround the victim and his family and walk them to the end of the block to an ambulance, surrounding them with their bikes. The victim, 52, was taken to HCMC for treatment. He suffered a broken maxilla bone and a traumatic brain injury and will miss at least three weeks of work. The victim’s brother was also assaulted, according to the police report.
In an unusual move, the Downtown Council said it would offer a $5,000 reward through Crime Stoppers, with details to be worked out later Tuesday.
“This was a particularly senseless, reckless and illegal action,” said MDC Chair Tom Hoch. “The victim had enjoyed participating in the parade with his family and was plainly and simply sucker-punched without provocation” and near many law officers.
“Shockingly, these deterrents did not prevent this irresponsible act, and the responsible individual must be identified and held accountable.”
According to MDC President and CEO Steve Cramer, the council hopes the reward will draw out witnesses. “As a community, we must agree to define such behavior as clearly outside the bounds of what is acceptable,” Cramer said. “We simply will not tolerate this activity, nor will we cede our streets to such brazen acts.”
“Police did a fantastic job, ” said the board member. “They showed so much restraint. It was impressive.”
The board member said hospital staffers told his family that there were many victims of assaults that night. Minneapolis police spokesman John Elder, however, said there were two reports of assaults and a stabbing during and after the parade. Hundreds of teens were roaming downtown that evening, but there wasn’t as much violence as the previous St. Patrick’s Day. Teens blocked traffic and got into fights; criminal complaints are being pursued in a handful of cases this year.
After the attack, the board member spoke with Cramer and called Metro Transit officials to see if the teens were using the free ride program on St. Patrick’s Day to get downtown. Because of social media posts, Metro Transit officials were aware that teens were planning to flood downtown, and they warned those trying to disturb the parade to stay away, according to spokesman Howie Padilla.
The board member, however, said he wished city officials had warned the public that they could be in jeopardy. “Why wasn’t the public made more aware?” he said.
“I’ve always been a big supporter of downtown,” he added. “It’s important that we have a safe and vibrant downtown. This makes me look at downtown through a different lens, that’s for sure. I don’t know what the answer is. If someone really wants to come down and cause trouble, you can’t stop them. If we had known there was a chance of this mayhem, we wouldn’t have marched.”

The master race, right?

It's really simple, folks:  "So often times it happens that we live our lives in chains
And we never even know we have the key."
No blacks, know peace; know blacks, no peace.

Conservatism: An Ideology Existing to Impede the Future from Becoming the Present

The new normal means tolerating Islamic terrorism and the 24/7 police state erected under the guise of keeping us safe/preventing Islamic terrorism.

I don't stand with the people of Belgium, Sweden, France, Germany, England, Spain, or any nation where Islamic terror has occurred, because these people continue to elect politicians who openly side with Muslims immigrants and defend Muslims interests over the European people and their interests.
Pathetically predictable... courtesy of Islamic terror and Western leaders who have committed to defending Islam over the interests of Western nations

Every monument in Europe and the United States currently lighted up in the colors of the Belgium flag (just as they were after the Paris attacks by Muslims and, paradoxically, in celebration of gay marriage) will one day be topped by a minaret or imploded by conquering Muslims, for demography is destiny.

There exist to stop Islamic terror in the West:
1. Don't Let Muslims in your nation (repatriate those currently living in the West); 2. Execute Westerners who agitate for relaxing rule one.

It's that simple.

Until then, we are just presently waiting for the next European/American city we must stand in solidarity with after another entirely preventable Islamic terror attack has happened there (a natural disaster is a tragedy; a Muslim terror attack is 100 percent preventable if you have the will to bar them from your nation).

Have your Facebook profile ready to incorporate that nations flag imposed over it!

A Reminder of the World Blacks Create in the Absence of Whites: 65% Black Baltimore to host "Shooting 4 Peace' Anti-Violence Basketball Game

"First we will kill all the subversives; then we will kill their collaborators; then their sympathizers; then those who remain indifferent; and finally we will kill the timid." -- General Iberico Saint Jean, military governor of Buenos Aires, 5/76

If you can't laugh, you'll never understand America is irredeemable. Desperately believing in some mythical nature of the founding of the nation, you'll cling to the illusion of hope and salvation.

None is coming. This is your future. ['Shooting 4 Peace' anti-violence celebrity basketball game planned for April, Baltimore Sun, 3-15-16]:
As  the one-year anniversary of last April's unrest in Baltimore approaches, a group of former college and professional athletes are planning a celebrity basketball game they hope will help unite the city.
Rosters haven't been finalized for the April 16 "Shooting 4 Peace" game that that will pit "Former NBA Stars" against "Baltimore City Legends" at Coppin State University.
Former New Jersey Net Kurk Lee, former New York Knicks Jerome Williams and Allan Houston, former Philadelphia 76er Mark Karcher, former CBA player Shawnta Rogers and former UMass Minuteman Donta Bright are expected to play. One of the teams will be coached by former Dunbar and Maryland men's basketball coach Bob Wade. Additional celebrity appearances are expected to be announced later, organizers said.
"We want to be a beacon of hope. We want to be a catalyst to shine a light on Baltimore," said Ray Sydnor, the head organizer. "Baltimore's called Charm City for a reason. Since the whole world is watching Baltimore right now, let's give them something to watch."
In the week before the game, the athletes also plan to visit every Baltimore City public school to speak to students and share anti-violence, anti-bullying and other positive messages.
About a dozen organizers announced the game in a news conference with Baltimore Police Commissioner Kevin Davis, Lt. Col. Melvin Russell and former Commissioner Leonard Hamm, who now leads Coppin's police force, on the university's basketball court Monday.
"The message is a message of hope," Sydnor said. "We want to talk about anti-violence, anti-drugs, anti-bullying and unity."

Davis said the interactions between role models and students have the potential to be powerful. He said people have reminded him recently that the anniversary of the 2015 riots is right around the corner.

"I sense some anxiety in their tone," he said. "But, to me and to the Police Department, we're looking forward to April, because we've turned and are turning what has been a challenge into an opportunity."
The April 27, 2015 riots took place on the day of the funeral for Freddie Gray, a 25-year-old man who died from injuries sustained in police custody. After a week of protests, a confrontation between police and students was followed by looting and burning.
An emergency curfew was instituted and the National Guard was deployed to quell the riot.
"When April arrives," Davis promised, "that's when Baltimore will be its best. For anyone with low expectations — particularly anyone outside of this city with low expectations of Baltimore — we're going to prove them wrong."
Odds this unites the city?

Close the zero.

Odds April is a violent month in 65 percent black Baltimore, courtesy of individual black people collectively engaging in all of the violence? Close to 100 percent.

White Washington Post Reporter Laments Black Criminal Gunned Down After Burglarizing House in Liberty City

Michael E. Miller is a reporter for the Washington Post

He, as all white liberals must, finds no fault in black criminality.

Obviously, something must have been a catalyst for this life of criminality, with the usual culprit being some form of "white person," or "legacy of slavery/Jim Crow/white supremacy."
Michael E. Miller, a writer for the Washington Post: Questions the morality of homeowner who dared use a gun to kill a black male who was trying to burglarize her private property

In the case of Trevon Johnson, a black criminal, Miller blames the homeowner for daring to defend her property. [A Miami woman killed a teen burglar as he fled her home, police say. Should she be charged?, Washington Post, 3-15-16]:
Gwendolyn Jenrette can be forgiven for putting security cameras around her modest Miami home. She lives in Liberty City, a high-crime neighborhood in a high-crime town. Her low-slung duplex backs onto the railroad tracks and has been targeted in the past.
She can also be forgiven for racing home when, on Thursday afternoon, her security system alerted her to another break-in at the property.
But can she be forgiven for, according to police, fatally shooting a teenager as he fled her house, even as officers were on their way to help?
That is the question now facing the state’s attorney’s office.
Seventeen-year-old Trevon Johnson died Thursday night after Jenrette shot him once as he allegedly fled the scene of the home invasion, according to Miami-Dade police. There have been no indications that Johnson was armed.
The slaying of the teenage burglary suspect was reported triumphantly by local television station WSVN, which said Jenrette had “turned the tables” on Johnson.
“Police say this would-be robber chose the wrong home because this homeowner did more than just call the cops,” reported WSVN’s Brandon Beyer. “She had a gun.”
But Johnson’s family said the young man didn’t deserve to die over mere property, which they said he hadn’t even taken.
Trevon Johnson's family had something quite interesting to say about their dead family member: how else will he procure currency to exchange for accouterments if he can't be afforded the right to steal? [Homeowner Shoots, Kills Teen Burglary Suspect, CBS Miami, 3-11-16]:
Relatives of a 17-year-old are angry the teenager was shot and killed by a homeowner who police say was protecting her property.
The sister of the teen who died identified him as Trevon Johnson. She said he was a student at D. A. Dorsey Technical College.
“I don’t care if she have her gun license or any of that. That is way beyond the law… way beyond,” said Johnson’s cousin Nautika Harris.
“He was not supposed to die like this. He had a future ahead of him.
Trevon had goals… he was a funny guy, very big on education, loved learning.”
On Thursday, police say Johnson burglarized a home south of 79th Street near I-95 — just blocks away from where he lives.
The 54-year-old woman told police her surveillance system alerted her to the break-in of her home. She said she rushed home and found the teen climbing out of a window.
“She observed a subject leaving the home through the rear,” said police Det. Dan Ferrin.
Miami-Dade police said there was a confrontation and shots were fired. Police said they were on scene seconds after the shooting and gave CPR to the teen. Johnson was rushed to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
“What’s wrong with her,” asked Johnson’s sister Nisha Johnson. “She did not have to shoot him.”
“It’s no reason she should have waited until I think he walked out the yard to try to shoot him,” said Harris. “If she called the police already why would she shoot him?”
Relatives said they don’t believe Johnson stole anything from the home but detectives would not confirm that.
“You have to look at it from every child’s point of view that was raised in the hood,” said Harris. “You have to understand… how he gonna get his money to have clothes to go to school? You have to look at it from his point-of-view.”
Strangely, Miller left the last quote out of his piece canonizing the recently deceased Trevon.

America is irredeemable.

Nautika Harris', Johnson's cousin, attempt to rationalize Johnson's burglarizing of private property is just one example in an ever-growing list detailing not only how freedom failed, but ultimately describing America's future.
